  1. Welcome to PolyEd!

  3. What PolyEd is:
  4. ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
  5. PolyEd is an extremly user-friendly, powerfull text editor.
  6.  
  7. PolyEd is also shareware. That means, if you use it frequently,
  8. you should send me some money. The unregistrated version of PolyEd
  9. has all features, but quits after 10 minutes, (leaving you the
  10. chance of saving your work before).

  13. How to install PolyEd:
  14. ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
  15. PolyEd is installed via the Commodore Installer. Just double click the
  16. 'Install' icon and reply to some questions. The 'Installer' program is
  17. not included within this package.

  19. If you don't have the 'Installer', you have to install PolyEd by hand:
  20.  
  21. (1) Drag the PolyEd drawer to the place you want it.
  22. (2) Copy the contents of the 'Icons' drawer to 'ENV:' and 'ENVARC:'.
  23. (3) Delete the 'Icons' drawer, and the catalogs and docs for all
  24.     languages you do not need.
  25. (4) Add the following lines to your 'S:user-startup' file:
  26.     assign PED: <path to the PolyEd drawer>
  27.     path PED: add

  30. How to get the complete version of PolyEd:

  32. To get the complete version of PolyEd, send me $ 20.- or DM 30.- or

  35. for $ 5.- or DM 8.- or öS 50.-
