  1. Multiplot    XLN-S 1.01    Intuitive data plotting program

  3. Multiplot XLN is a fully intuitive data plotting program. It plots
  4. data points as (x,y) co-ordinates with or without x or y error
  5. bars. It can plot an unlimited number of sets with any number of data
  6. points using colour, line type, line weight, point shape and point
  7. size to represent the different sets. A set may be joined by a line or
  8. plotted as discrete points. Data may be impulse plotted, scatter
  9. plotted, or shown as a histogram or step graph. Additions to the data
  10. may be made in the form of lines of best fit (logarithmic,
  11. exponential, linear and polynomial) and data smoothing utilising
  12. modified open b-splines or averaging filtration.

  14. The input file for Multiplot is a simple textfile and my be created
  15. in any ASCII text editor or saved from any spreadsheet. Multiplot
  16. supports the clipboard, and data input may be achieved solely through
  17. it. Multiplot has a full ARexx interface which provides potential for
  18. a wide variety of data manipulations including statistical analysis.
  19. Output may be in any of the following formats: IntroCAD, Draw, mCAD,
  20. IFF, Revised Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language (HPGL/2), Encapsulated
  21. Postscript (EPSF) or Postscript. The graph can be printed to any
  22. workbench printer by transparent use of the PLT: device. Multiplot
  23. directly supports the HP LaserJet III and Postscript laser printers
  24. such as the Apple Laser printer.
