  1.          UUxT 3.0b -- The Ultimate "UU" Utility for The Amiga

  5.    UUxT is a full featured UUencode/decoder with the following features:
  6.  
  7.    o  File splitting by line or kbytes when encoding for easy mailing/posting.
  8.       (Complete with header and footers that tell the filename and part
  9.       number after total number of parts.)
  10.  
  11.    o  Batch decoding.  (You can decode many files at once, as well as split
  12.       files without joining them.  UUxT also has wildcard support.)
  13.  
  14.    o  Batch encoding.  You can encode multiple files into one text file.
  15.  
  16.    o  Automatically skips over mail headers and other junk that can end up in
  17.       encoded files.
  18.  
  19.    o  Ability to LhA compress files for you, and then
  20.       uuencode the resulting compressed file, all in one step, thus
  21.       saving you time.  You can also decode and de-LhA in one step.

  23.    UUxT also comes with UUxT-GUI 2.0, a full featured workbench interface for
  24. UUxT.   UUxT-GUI 2.0 now supports all of UUxT 3.0's features including
  25. batch encoding, decoding, etc.

  61.    o Added UUSplit, a special file splitter designed for uuencoded files.

  65.    The UUxT package is SHAREWARE.  The public release is not cripled,
  66. however the registered version is *ten times* faster, and contains
  67. additional features.  Please read the enclosed documentation for more
  68. information.

  70.    Saddly, this will most likely be the last public release of UUxT you're
  71. going to see.  UUxT is shareware, folks.  As of today (September 20, 1994)
  72. only seven people have bothered registering, and I know that there are alot
  73. more then seven people who use it.  I guess shareware doesn't work afterall.
