  2.                             HELP FOR GROUP WINDOW

  5.                              GENERAL INFORMATION
  6.  
  7.     The Group Window is used for the running and organisation of a pool of
  8.     players. It consists of the following 4 sections :-
  9.  
  10.     1.  CONTROL:  This should list the people responsible for the various
  11.                   departments (finance, ticket buying, pred/bet selection,
  12.                   etc. The string boxes at the bottom of the window are
  13.                   used for adding to the list, and the "Delete"/"Change"
  14.                   gadgets will delete or change a line in this list.
  15.  
  16.     2.  MEMBERS:  This will contain the name and address of each member and
  17.                   their account balance. The string boxes at the bottom of
  18.                   the tables are used for adding members to the list or
  19.                   changing their accounts. Note that the account box is
  20.                   initially set to "+" indicating that the amount entered
  21.                   will be added to the account. The account column will
  22.                   change automatically as bets/winnings are entered in the
  23.                   Game Window so the entry box can be set to "+" or "-" to
  24.                   replenish the account or withdraw from it when members
  25.                   are paid. The "One" gadget is normally set indicating
  26.                   that individual accounts are being changed. If you collect
  27.                   a fixed amount of money weekly, monthly, etc. then you
  28.                   can select "All" and the amount entered in the account
  29.                   box will be added to all members account.

  31.     3.  GAME:     This window is used to enter the price of a single bet
  32.                   prior to a draw, or to enter total winnings after a draw.
  33.                   All member accounts will be updated. It is used after the
  34.                   member list is complete and bets have been selected and
  35.                   saved.

  37.     4.  ACCOUNTS: Each member has an account file which shows the last 15
  38.                   transactions. This includes replenishments/withdrawals in
  39.                   the Member Window and bet costs/winnings in the Game
  40.                   Window.

  42.                                 MENU OPTIONS

  44.     1.1  Project/New Group...
  45.  
  46.       Choose "New Group..." if you want to start up a new group for the
  47.       selected game. All current files will be deleted and all tables will
  48.       be cleared, ready for new entries.

  50.     1.2   Project/Print Group...
  51.  
  52.       Select "Print Group..." if you want to send data to your printer. A
  53.       window will be displayed in which you can print the control list,
  54.       member list, game data or individual accounts.

  56.     2.1  Rules/Show Rules...
  57.  
  58.       Choose "Show Rules..." if you want to read or print out the group
  59.       rules. The file will be initially blank and should be filled in using
  60.       a word processor. The file name is "group_rules" and should not be
  61.       changed: it is in the "manual" directory (manual/group_rules).

  64.     2.2  Rules/Show Agreement...

  66.       Choose "Show Agreement..." if you want to read or print out the group
  67.       agreement form which can be given to each member. The file will be
  68.       initially blank and should be filled in using a word processor. The
  69.       file name is "group_agreement" and should not be changed: it is in
  70.       the "manual" directory (manual/group_agreement).
