  8.   Well, when I got my Amiga I found that there were no editors around that I
  9. really liked.  Some were good and did quite a lot but they were not me.  So I
  10. wrote SkoEd which is in may ways my personal preference.  SkoEd is by no means
  11. the begin and end all of Editors; there are a number of areas which need
  12. improving.  It is however at a stage that I feel can be released to the Amiga
  13. community.

  18.   Here is a list of what SkoEd can do.

  20.     - Remaps keystrokes to commands.
  21.     - Customisable.
  22.     - Multiple Files.
  23.     - Multiple Views of files.
  24.     - Clones the WorkBench Screen and WorkBench Screen text font.
  25.     - Set own Screen and Font.
  26.     - Reads,Writes and Converts IBM format files.
  27.     - A FAST Find/Replace.
  28.     - Column Blocks.
  29.     - Clipboard support.
  30.     - AutoSave after time limit expires.
  31.     - Folding.
  32.     - Match {([])}.
  33.     - Count number of braces {} in a file.
  34.     - Word Completion. (I like this one :-)
  35.     - Zoom/Explode of Views.
  36.     - Memory file to remember files previously loaded and cursor location.
  37.     - Unlimited Marks to allow you to go instantly to a marked location.
  38.     - Undelete n Deletes. (n is setable)
  39.     - Iconify.
  40.     - Script file bit is handled correctly (and is settable).

  46.     - A full macro language. (although with Arexx do I need this?)
  47.     - A full Undo as opposed to Undelete (and Redo).
