  12. What is the package 'TimegGuardian'?
  13. ====================================

  15. 'TimeGuardian' is a program package which allows you to start easily events,
  16. that have to be done at certain times or dates on your computer. You can also
  17. write log files to disk, where you can see when your computer was switched
  18. on.

  20. Who can use TimeGuardian?
  21. -------------------------

  23.  * You are a software developer and work on more than one project?
  24.  * You are a software developer and want to know how much time you spent on
  25.    a certain project?
  26.  * You use your computer in busines and for private, and want to know how
  27.    much time you use it each?
  28.  * You want to poll at your mailbox once a day?

  30.    and not every time your computer is booting), but your computer doesn't

  43. Then you need TimeGuardian!

  45. Short introduction:

  48. This is a short introduction for those, who don`t want to read the
  49. documentation before the installation. Only certain important facts are
  50. menshioned. The complete documentation is in the directory 'english'.
  51.  
  52. Assumptions:
  53. ------------
  54.  * OS version >= 2.0
  55.  * MUI >= 2.0
  56.  * Installer, for the installation (has to be in the search path, e.g.'C:')
  57.  * Amiga Guide, that means amigaguide.library (for the online help)
  58.  
  59. When the assumptions are fulfilled, you can immediately start the
  60. installation by doubleclicking on the icon 'TGinstall.english'. The program
  61. package will be installed. Whilst the installation you are asked, whether
  62. you want to start the preferences program. When you start it, and want to
  63. get more information about the gadgets, move the mouse pointer over an area
  64. of the graphical user interface an press the 'Help' key on your keyboard.

  66. When you don`t know, what to answer when the installation asks, then read
  67. the entire documenttion.
