  1. Thank you for trying Quip 0.07e.

  3. I think you'll find this is the best Fortune Cookie program ever written
  4. on any platform.

  6. Click on any of the face icons to see Quip in action without installing
  7. anything.  Click on the "Install Quip" to put it in your system.  There's
  8. a chance the Installer may not work (for certain uncomfortable reasons)..
  9. if this is the case, you can copy the files manually by CLI.  Quip does
  10. not require nasty ol' assigns and junk like that (would that more programs
  11. were so friendly).  You must have AmigaDOS 2.04 to run Quip.

  13. The installer checks the Quip and Quip.guide files to make sure you aren't
  14. installing an older or equivalent version of Quip, so it's pretty safe. 
  15. But be careful of installing the datafile, if you already have one.  I
  16. lost my original datafile during testing <sob> because I overwrote it with
  17. the datafile that comes with this archive.  It'll create a 'Quip.dat'
  18. file, changing the name of 'cookie.dat' to 'Quip.dat'.  This is normal.

  20. Finally created a .doc file (in addition to the .guide file), so I'm now
  21. releasing this.
