  1. This is a beta version of the TextRead program. It was released in order to
  2. find out if there is a public interest in the program.
  3. This program was written because *I* needed a fast and simple ascii reader, and
  4. I have no use for the features this beta version lacks of (prefs files, better
  5. printer support, arexx interface...). If I want some other settings than the
  6. builtins, I just reassembe it :-).
  7. So if *you* want a final version, and are ready to support it, just send me a
  8. letter! I know *two* persons using it now, and that's just not enough for me to
  9. finish this piece of crap. So... email me, or send letters. Thanks.
