- MN3A is a program based on MININEC for design/analysis of wire antennas.
-
- MN3A is freeware.
-
- Documentation is contained within the program.
-
- Run from CLI or Workbench.
-
- The program runs in its own 4 color screen.
-
- TOPAZ 8 or equivalent size font is needed for MN3A.
-
- This directory contains a wire.inp file (a 3 wire beam antenna, scaled
- for 29.98 mhz/10.0 meter wavelength. It would normally be driven by a
- source at wire 2, pulse #8). It is a sample input file, not an optimized
- design.
-
- MN3A version 1.2 updates:
- 1. The latest version of HISOFT's BASIC compiler (v2.0) uses dynamic
- memory allocation for arrays. This feature now allows MN3A to have
- user definable limits on wires and segments (limited by available RAM).
- The new compiler uses a different format for storing numbers, so old
- wire.inp files will not load into MN3A v1.2.
-
- 2. Standing Wave Ratio can now be calculated for a range of frequencies,
- and plotted.
-
- 3. Improved wire editing.
