-
- INTRODUCTION
- ------------
- LazyMines is just another minesweeper game. It's main advantage over most
- other minesweeper games is that it looks better on the Workbench screen.
- It respects user settings (i.e pen colors and fonts). Also if you have an
- AGA-machine LazyMines uses lots of colors.
-
-
- SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- -------------------
- LazyMines can be run on any Amiga with version 2.0 or higher of the OS.
- (Just don't expect any colors if you run it on pre 3.0 systems).
-
-
- HOW TO PLAY
- -----------
- I don't think there is any need for an thorough explanation - if you
- haven't played any minesweeper game by now you're probably not interested
- in playing LazyMines either. All you need to know is this:
-
- Use the left mousebutton to reveal a cell.
- Use the right mousebutton to lock a cell.
- Use both (right and left) mousebuttons to reveal all cells around the cell
- you clicked on.
-
-
- THE MENUSTRIP
- -------------
- The Game menu:
-
- New - Starts a new game.
- About - Displays information about the program.
- Quit - Quits the program.
-
- The Settings menu:
-
- Safe Opening - When this is selected you won't die on your first move.
- Warnings - Makes it possible to put warnings on the cells (quite useless).
- Auto Open - Opens the field automatically (if there are any cells with no
- mines around it, otherwise it does nothing).
- Auto Lock - Locks cells automatically when it's certain (or at least seems
- certain) that there is a mine on that cell. Autolocking is only
- done when both mousebuttons are pressed to sweep around a cell.
-
-
- TOOLTYPES
- ---------
- LazyMines currently recognizes these tooltypes:
-
- ROWS=<number of rows>
- Use this to set the number of rows wanted.
-
- COLUMNS=<number of columns>
- Use this to set the number of columns wanted.
-
- MINES=<number of mines>
- Use ths to set the number of mines wanted.
-
- (NOTE! The numbers set here will NOT be corrected if they are bad.)
-
-
- PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
- --------------------
- Add a timer and a high score list.
-
- Make it possible to set the options now set using tooltypes from within
- the program.
-
- A new tooltype to set the public screen that the program will open its
- window on.
-
- Add support for locale.library.
-
-
