  6. of the singles released by Tara, L.a.z.y. and All Saints 1.9.7.5?

  8. I personally think that Tara's single is the best ZTT single of the past couple 
  9. of years.

  25. 1. Intro
  26. a previously unreleased short edit of 106 mixed in with State To State from the 
  27. Quadrastate album merges into the awesome...
  28.  
  29. 2. Cubik (Live at On Air, Tokyo, Japan.  June 1993)
  30. Killer live version of one of 808's best known tracks, recorded on their last 
  31. world tour.  If you have never seen 808 live this is your only chance to hear 
  32. Darren giving it loads on the mic!
  33.  
  34. 3. Yacuza
  35. is a new track from the Fon sessions for their 1995 album.  This may also be a 
  36. single next year - so hear it here first!
  37.  
  38. 4. Lemons
  39. is the previously unreleased (and never to be released again!) version of Lemon 
  40. - - from the Gorgeous Disco Disc / Forecast LP - the Rhythm Device Mix.  It's a 
  41. storming acid attack (and much better than Lemon in my opinion!)
  42.  
  43. 5. 20:20
  44. This is yet another previoulsy unreleased remix from the Gorgeous sessions - the 
  45. infamous Sax Mix of Stormin Norman!
  46.  
  47. 6. La Donna Bionica
  48. Originally recoprded for Gorgeous, but left off in faviour of the State To State 
  49. CD.
  50.  
  51. 7. Repa Repo
  52. Yes, that is how it's spelt!  It's the LIVE version of Reaper Repo, recorded at 
  53. the Wembly Conference Centre in November of 1992.  This is the track where 
  54. Darren made a cup of tea live on stage during the performence!
  55.  
  56. 8. Diana
  57. was recorded for the as-yet-un-named 1995 album, but was set aside for this 
  58. album!
  59.  
  60. 9. Fear
  61.  new track featuring Graham at his film-sampling best!
  62.  
  63. 10. King Quil
  64. this new track had a workin title of Marvin!
  65.  
  66. 11. Jacskon Fraction
  67. a wacky sample-driven track with a wicked bassline
  68.  
  69. 12. Control
  70. The finale covers the history of 808 State.  This track was recorded (but left 
  71. off of) Quadrastate, then re-worked for Gorgeous as Contrique, then the original 
  72. was remixed for State To State.

  87. Have y'all subscribed to State To State to get the new, exclusive 808 State 
  88. album for free yet?  If not, why not?!

  90. In a fit of madness designed to make life look better 808 State's new album 
  91. album has been delayed (again) so the sleeve and packaging can be designed by 
  92. none other than our favourite desighners - Designers Republic!
  93.  
  94. DR have many sleeves (and a feature in Wired!) to their credit.  These include 
  95. Sun Electric, The Orb, Age Of Chance, Cabaret Voltaire, Pop Will Eat Itself, 
  96. Nine Inch Nails, Soho, Newspeak, Coco Steel & Lovebomb, 3MB and London's 
  97. Victoria & Albert Museum.  We're really excited that DR have taken the job of 
  98. packaging State To State.  They are big 808 fans and promise to take the 808 
  99. State design legacy off into a new orbit.

  101. The track listing for State To State looked better than ever when it went off 
  102. to the pressing plant, I'll post it over to the ztt list for your drooling 
  103. delight in a moment.  Check this out!

  118. Er, not exactly, no more from Tara on ZTT.  Shame as her scheduled second single 
  119. (Experience) was really good, despite a v. poor Ollie J Mix.  Her album was 
  120. good too.

  135. I thought All Saints was good!  There might be more from All Saints on WEA, but 
  136. it looks dicey.  They wont be with Metmarphosis (who produced, performed, 
  137. remixed Silver Shadow).

  170. Hmmm...  I don't really shop anywhere for such things.  On the rare- 
  171. stuff-from-the-80s front, try Energy, Cherrywood Lodge, Polperro Road, West 
  172. Looe, Cornwall, PL13 2JE...  Mind, I have found one shop just up the road from 
  173. me that does second hand records and the like and has used promo CD singles at a 
  174. very cheap *25p*!  Over the past year or two have found quite a lot of ZTT promo 
  175. (stickered) CD singles like SSL, General Max, Closing Of the Year, All Saints, 
  176. Tune Splits, Shades Gettin Away, Mantra, HonkyDoodleDay EP, Tara radio promo and 
  177. also 808's YMO and Quicy remix CD singles!!  Trouble is they don't have a mail 
  178. order service...!

  189. regards the recent talk of decent UK shops for ztt stuff, I stumbled across all 
  190. sorts of interesting things in Record & Tape Exchange in Camden Town, north 
  191. London yesterday...

  193. Like several L.a.z.y cd singles for 50p, 808 State 10x10 promo 12"s (first and 
  194. second issues) for 1.00 UKP, some Honky CD singles for 50p, some Lovestation 
  195. (Ped's new band) 12"s for 1.00 UKP, ... etc etc
  196.  
  197. I bought 808's Gimme Shelter 12" for 1.00 UKP and Nasty Rox's Escape from Ney 
  198. York CD single for 50p.  Unfortunately I'm pretty sure they don't do mail order!

  214. 2/ Got my invite to SPZ (Sarm, Perfect & ZTT)'s Christmas Party today.  Music

  219. 4/ The new Gregg Stump film 'P-Tex, Lies & Duct Tape' features 808 State and

  297. The sleeve artwork for 808 State's State To State CD has been finished and it's 
  298. a masterpiece!  Slightly reminiscent of DR's work with Sun Electric perhaps...
  299.  
  300. Several thousand excellent flyers of unique DR artwork & info on joining have 
  301. been printed.  They feature a variation of the album design and form part one of 
  302. the new 808 State design dynasty which will continue with the State To State CD 
  303. and the new album for ZTT in 1995.  Printed in metallic silver and flourescent 
  304. orange, the artwork features some subliminal graphic codes that are only 
  305. revealed on examining the actual CD artwork.  Those mad DR-types!

  451. BTW Graham from 808 State did an interview for Virgin Airways which was played 
  452. all summer long.  They also played Bombadin.  Graham (interviewed on the phone 
  453. at FON which recording State To State) talked about S2S and the internet.  There 
  454. was also a feature (on another channel) on ten years of ZTT which included music 
  455. by (if I remember correctly) Frankie, Anne Pigalle and Andrew Poppy, All Saints 
  456. and possibly others.
