DIGEST #82, 08-21-95
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
-From simon@isys.king.ac.uk Thu Aug 10 10:37:49 1995
-Subject: RE: ground zero
What is this new Ground Zero record mentioned in digest 81?
2 new recordings (or was it 3?) were advertised at the Ohtomo/Yamatsuka
Purcell Room gig: one being Revolutionary Peking Opera, the other I forget.

-Subject: Zorn & Patton
Someone mentioned a few weeks back about an upcoming release by Big John
Patton which features Zorn, and I did not think to write down the information
given. Would it be possible to relay that information towards me, as I would
very much like to track that recording down. I have the "Blue Planet Man"
recording from a few years back, and like it quite a bit, and would like to
hear more of how the two can interact. Also, if anybody knows anything about
a CD called "Red Heaven" which features the duo of Tatsuya Yoshida and a
member of Omiode Hatoba (the CD is in a red and white cardboard case, with no
label name in sight), I would like to know where I could find one. I saw one
in a store here in Chicago, but it was a store copy, and was not for sale.
Any information on this, or on the Big John Patton CD's would be greatly
appreciated. Later -Egg 1000

-Subject: golem
i just saw that golem is out on tzadik. Does anyone have the CD?
I saw it live last year in amsterdam, it was absolutely
brilliant. I spoke to David Moss, and he told me that the amsterdam
show was recorded, so is it this recording that is released?
Any opinions?
