The original Rite of Spring doesn't have any saxophones in
it's orchestration. It would have to be an arrangement or
maybe someone dubbed an unaccompanied Zorn solo
over an original. Sounds like a possibility...I'd do it!

It was called Night Music not Night Tracks. I wish that stuff would
get released on video, but it's probably is a legal nightmare.

Subject: Grand Guignol CD
I've replied via E-mail to people asking about the Masada translation. I
had saved the posting in hopes of one day owning all three to send for
the fourth.
I have a copy of Grand Guignol with the same type of "stub" on it. Apart
from naming the songs and musicians on one side, has anybody translated
the rest of it? I see similarities to my Alef stub but it is still
different... That's about all I can say about it!
Thanks,
Brady

Subject: Painkiller
Hey there
I think I just figured out how to post (Yah, stupid me. I'm slow
at these things, Ok?) and so you'll probably be hearing a lot from me
now. Hopefullly, some of you will be able to help me out. Basically, I'm
looking for MORE by Zorn, Painkiller, Naked City and Boredoms (The family
of Zorn) Here's a list of what I've got
Zorn and Naked City
Painkiller: Execution Ground
Guts of a Virgin
I don't have Buried Secrets. Is that one good? I LOVE these two!
Masada: 1, 2, and 3
Elegy
Cobra (not at the knitting factory, though. Is that good?)
Grand Guignol
Heretic
Absinthe
Radio
Naked City (The S/t one)
Company 91 Volume 1
News for Lulu, More News for Lulu
Spillane
The Art of Memory
And I think I have EVERYTHING by the Boredoms.
Anyway. I was wondering if you guys could recommend some more stuff that
I should look for from Zorn and from ANYONE ELSE you could possibly think
I would enjoy. I should mention that I love everything that I have by
Zorn, and so I would rarely get disappointed. I'd have to say that my
least favourite is Absinthe, but I still like it and listen to it, so
basically, I'm into all. So, lay on any other things you think I would
enjoy. I would appreciate ANY help! Thanks everyone!
