  48. been stuck in my head for days);
  49.  - v/a: Operation Beatbox (hooray for industrial-dance bands doing hip-hop
  50. covers!);
  51.  - Sensational: Heavyweighter (by far the best production job he's managed
  52. so far);
  53.  - Swans: Various Failures (melodramatic in the extreme, but awfully pretty);
  54.  - Tetreault/Drumm: Particles and Smears (snap-crackly-poppy goodness... my
  55. favourite Erstwhile disc other than the Haunted House one...);
  56.  - Thunderinas: Blower! (I've learned my lesson... no more crappy no-fi
  57. punk schlock from Homewrecker for me...);
  58.  - Mick Harris: Hed Nod Sessions 2 and 3 (why MCs aren't lined up around

  526.  - Merlin: Merlin's Arcade (where did he disappear to, I wonder?);
  527.  - Sonic Youth: 100% single (haven't actually played it, but "Genetic" has
  528. been stuck in my head for days);
  529.  - v/a: Operation Beatbox (hooray for industrial-dance bands doing hip-hop
  530. covers!);
  531.  - Sensational: Heavyweighter (by far the best production job he's managed
  532. so far);
  533.  - Swans: Various Failures (melodramatic in the extreme, but awfully pretty);
  534.  - Tetreault/Drumm: Particles and Smears (snap-crackly-poppy goodness... my
  535. favourite Erstwhile disc other than the Haunted House one...);
  536.  - Thunderinas: Blower! (I've learned my lesson... no more crappy no-fi
  537. punk schlock from Homewrecker for me...);
  538.  - Mick Harris: Hed Nod Sessions 2 and 3 (why MCs aren't lined up around
  539. the block to work with this guy is beyond me);
  540.  - Einsturzende Neubauten: Silence is Sexy (not only frilly and romantic,
  541. but also playful at times);
  542.  - John Zorn: Songs from the Hermetic Theater (accompanies late-afternoon
  543. filing chores quite nicely);
  544.  - Cubanate: Barbarossa (better-than-average British club fodder);
  545.  - Vandermark 5 and Chicks on Speed: assorted quasi-recent concert
  546. recordings (and an entertaining idea for a collaborative recording venture)
  547.  
  548. Oh, and also the sweet, sweet purring of the quiet new power supply in my
  549. no-longer-constantly-shorting-out computer, which is why I'm posting to
  550. this thread almost a week after it got started.

  552. going to head out in search of some Marty Erlich and Eric Dolphy recordings
  553. tomorrow afternoon, even though I'll probably just end up buying a copy of
