  43. Coffee is publishing its first compilation including electronic music.
  44. The exquisite and as yet unpublished tracks were selected by Toaster
  45. Music Editions. On the occasion of the 30th birthday of the Youth
  46. Magazine, they put together a thrilling CD of entirely new titles. The
  47. music producers, bands and DJs from Zurich, Berne, Basle, Chur,
  48. Frauenfeld and Lausanne are representative of the great variety of young
  49. musical creativity. The musical range includes Drum'n Bass, Triphop and
  50. Breakbeats, Nu Jazz and Downbeat. The tracks include contributions from
  51. established artists such as Minus 8, Swandive, Maozinha, L.E.X.X.
  52. (Bligg'n'Lexx) with Adrian Weyermann (Crank) and Goo as well as such
  53. young up-and-coming acts as Bio Bonsai, Signorino TJ, Sidemen, Obsoquasi
  54. and Earthbound (with a Yello remix!). The mainly instrumental tracks are
  55. expertly programmed and some are embellished with exciting samples.

  63. Three years ago the djs and producers Alex Dallas and Alex Gustafson
  64. climbed the Olympic hill of broken beats with their ep 'Reggie's
  65. escape', which was highly acclaimed by connaisseurs like Gilles
  66. Peterson. They also built a name for themselves as remixers for national
  67. (Leme, Swandive) and international acts (Fauna Flash, The Underwolves)
  68. and as co-founders of Straight Ahead. The label successfully supports
  69. the local phusion scene on an international level. On their exclusive
  70. remix of Yello's 'Point Blank' they present a sensitive side of theirs,
  71. building a simple and soulful nujazz structure around a single loop.
  72. Only one reason why we eagerly await their debut album which is
  73. scheduled for next year.
