Perry's latest effort is called "Techno-Majikal" and, as the title implies,
it sounds more techno than reggae. The album is a collaboration with Deiter
Meier from the synth-pop band "Yello," best known for their 80s hit "Oh
Yeah" (prominently featured in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off").

Subject: (yello) Eccentrix (Comment)
I've tried to come up with the 5 best things about Eccentrix -
and here they are, This is not facetious - I'm being honest(!)
1) The picture sleeve
2) The X-Wing/Tie-Fighter (?) sound effect in 'More'
3) 'On Track' remix in CD quality
4) Parody (voice effect) of the saxaphone in 'The Race'
5) The last minute of 'Topaz'
Feel free to comment.
James

Very interesting! I wonder if he never have problems in making music.
Never "argh.. I just don't get this right" or "darn.. that sound sounds
nice and I want it too but how they do it". Not even a head pain? Any
problems with the possible limitation of his equipment?
Yours,
Juhana
