One of the advantages of the design of the Website (over the
previous one - space.net) is that the individual pages can be
updated easily, i.e. New Output - NewsChannel etc.
At least the news page could have been updated when the
release date for the remix album was known!

These Yello Re-Watches are available at OBI all over Germany for around DM
100 (can't remember the exact price), separately. And I expect to drop the
price soon, because they seem to sell not very well. The price is to high
and the standard OBI customer has never heard of Yello. I will keep an eye
on that.

Hello!
Wouw! This 'new' version of On Track on Eccentrix is a damn great track.
Exellentrix!
I've tried to figure the lyrics with the help of Marks current transcripts
and here's what I''m hearing:

Last call for the (drift down?) New York to Chicago midnight special
leaving Grand Central on platform nine. First class seating at the front
of the train. Passengers for confirmation of their sleeping carts (cards?)
should check in immediately

Improvements...? I don't know. At least that's what I'm hearing :-)

found another low price for Eccentric today: Saturn Hansa at Munich

which is app. US$ 15,52. Any ideas, why this is so low?

No, no! I'm talking about the remix. There are only 8 words in this remix,
which are:
Night
train,
love OR life OR light OR flight OR ...,
vain,
wheels,
journey,
station,
unknown.
What is the third word?

Note that at least in the beginning of the Topaz there are
sounds from Yello's soundstation on their web site.
Some sounds are "hidden" in their site and you may download sounds
from "ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/culture/music/western/Yello/samples/
yellosoundstation.tar.gz".
Does any of you know how to download the program code for the
soundstation? How to get it work in my home computer without
network access. How about source code such that I may put those
missing sounds to it?
I could write a simple clone program for Linux/GTK -- interested?
Though, I wait until we have our complete wave editor/mixer software
ready so that the result will not be *that* limited that it is now
with the soundstation.
BTW, please upload "More" remix if possible. I heard about it months
ago and just can't wait when the record company realizes people (a person)
here (in Finland, by the way) too wants the CD.
Yours,
Juhana

Hi all!
Bought the album today. A bit expensive here in Bergen, Norway (but what
isn't) at 180 NOKs, but if you are a Yello fan you have to buy it!! :)
I haven't heard through all tunes 20 times yet, but it is great. The Race
and More is fabulous. And She's Got a Gun. And Rubberbandman and Topaz.
Well, all tracks are great actually.
No news of a studio album according to the record store, though.

Hi again !
Those watches sold at OBI are the "Re-Watches" and not the older "Crash
- -Watches".
Both were ideas (mainly the same idea) by Dieter Meier. There was only one
YELLO
Crash - Watch available. It has been sold together with the Zebra CD in a
metal-box
(limited edition 6000pcs.).
As Sheldon Stern has found out, there is another Yello watch available now.
But this watch is from the newer "Re-watch" generation.
You can find it at:
http://www.rewatch.com/main2.html
(great thanks to Sheldon for the link !!!!)
Maybe you can find this watch at OBI

Sorry for dissappointing you, but no, this is not the remix from

not expect dance kind of thing and you will love it.
The only dance-oriented remix is 'On Track'.

I discovered a site - www.frontstage.com - that has the album listed. It's
quite an elaborate site, not unlike say cdnow, so they may well provide an
express delivery service, but I didn't look into it this far. The cost
including p&p would work out at about =A315 which is cheaper than Esprit f=

Hi Yello-Fans!
In the "Re-Watch" commercial at "Obi" there is a short introduction of
Dieter Meier and there is stated that he is a "cigar connaisseur". In
the sleeve of "The new mix in one go"-cover you can see Boris with a
large cigar, too.
Does anybody know, if Yello are real cigar "afficionados" and if so,
what kind of cigars they like most?
