Over the weekend I bought a couple of versions of Front 242s Headhunter 2000,
for those of you that have not heard of this album it is 16 different versions
of Headhunter (17 if you get the US copy). It's an interesting idea and if you
are a 242 fan worth listening to.
My question to the group is this; Is there a Yello song you would like to see
remixed 17 different ways? And let's take Oh Yeah out of contention right off
the bat since it has been remixed a lot already. Anything else?
I'll kick it off with Bostich.

Subject: (yello) New Yello remix CD out soon!
The release has finally been confirmed:
Date: 25 Jan 1999
Title: ECCENTRIX REMIXES
Catalogue number: PolyGram/Mercury 538 584-2
This is a collection of mostly new remixes (Boris' own as well as DJ =
mixes).
Here is the complete track listing:
1. The Race (Brake Light Mix) 6.49
2. How How (Papa-Who-Ma-Mix) 5.51 [remixed and reproduced by Fluke]=20
3. More (Rockabilly Mix) 6.12=20
4. Do It (Marky P. & Teri B. Dub) 7.46 [reproduced & remixed by Mark =
Pichiotti/Teri Bristol]=20
5. Topaz (Insect Mix) 3.34=20
6. How How (in Silence mix) 4.32 [remixed by Plutone]=20
7. On Track (Doug Laurent=92s First Journey) 7.31 [remixed by Doug =
Laurent]=20
8. Vicious Games (Boris Blank & Olaf Wollschl=E4ger Mix) 6.32=20
9. Rubberbandman (Rubber Mix) 5.58 [edit]=20
10. She's Got a Gun (live at the Palladium N.Y.) 4.08=20
11. To the Sea (TSWL Mix) 4.49 [remixed by Ian Pooley]
Some tracks need clarification: three are previously unreleased (1, 3 =
and 5)
1 is a brand new mix by Boris (and yes it's good), 3 was intended for =
the next
single from Pocket Universe but it was withdrawn (Rockabilly style!) and =
5 is
a new track (I can well imagine it as the theme of the next Bond =
movie!).
It will probably not be relased outside of Germany/Europe.

Good news,
I have asked for the release of Excentric (maybe wrong spelled here?) at
Saturn-Hansa, a big CD-store here in Munich. Their System lists January 25th
as the official release date.
Cheers
