Subject: (yello) Introducing myself
Hi all. As a long-time Yello-fan, I thought it would be interesting to join
this mailling list.
I have loved Yello and their fantastic music since I first heard Si Senor
the Hairy Grill from One Second 10 years ago. I now have every album they
have released, and I try to collect as many singles and mixes as possible.
But now I need More. If anyone has any update on the forthcoming album
(anything really) I would be most interested.
A little about myself:
28 year-old Norwegian, recently finished my thesis on Spiders at the
University , currently residing in Bergen, western Norway. Listens to Yello
every day. One of my friends is also a fan, and I will encourage him to join
the list.
Favourite Album at the time: Pocket Universe
Favourite Yello tune: Night Flanger
Best Yello Album so far: One Second

I think this goes for all of us really; and while we're on the subject of
remixes,- I was
pleased to receive the Hardfloor CD of Viscous Games from Esprit yesterday.
I must say it's a cool track, and Boris' mix on track 3 is certainly worth
a listen. There's well over 40 mins on the CD, which is rare for a single.

I watched the movie Space invader Cobra today. I was amazed, very cool mo=

(can it be the music?) The movie was released in 1995 but contained the
songs Beyond Mirrors and Solar Driftwood. There where versions of songs t=

I have never heard but that can be because I don=B4t have the singles. Bu=

anyway if you haven't seen the movie do it! It=B4s great!

Yes, it is very great movie. It was the first Japanese animation movie
which I ever seen. Actually movie is quite old, original version
includes Japanese music. This "new" English version is with English
soundtrack and music of Yello. The cover of film includes much good
words...
Film is quite hard to find. I buy my film about one year ago.
Have to say that Yello's soundtrack is super, but film it self is with
very good pictures. There is many parts where Yello's music make whole
feeling. Actyually film give to you many very sensitive moments...

I enjoyed the film also, but mainly for the music (I've only seen the
English version). I saw it when it was released in the cinema, but it has
also been shown on free to air TV down here. I have to agree with Marko,
Yello's music definitely adds to the feeling of the film. I couldn't really
imagine it with the Japanese music, the Yello music fits so well.

The http://www.utu.fi:80/~eihapa/yello/titles3.htm#spa says nothing about
Beyond Mirrors and Solar Driftwood. These songs where released 2 years after
the film.

Perhaps you should look it again now. It is now over two years since
above was written.

Yes they were released after the film, but both songs were in film with
different names...
They were some of these...

I got my copy of Space Adventure Cobra from iMVS earlier this year =
(<http://www.IMVS.co.uk>) It cost me 12.85 English pounds, but now =
it's price has risen dramatically to 12.86 pounds. You'd better be =
quick and get your copy!
Somehow, I can imagine Cobra playing Space Invaders...
Andromeda: Stop playing that game, we've got a world to save.
Cobra: Let me have just one more game.
