Subject: (yello) Yello 2LP on 1CD
A while ago I found a strange CD:
it has Excess AND Stella on one CD.
Both covers are featured on the front
to a golden background. Has anyone else
seen it? It has no info apart from track listing
and credits to musicians (with Mixing *Assistanse*
Ian Tregoning which indicates it was manufactured
in a Latin speaking country.)
The only "catalogue number" is COM.PAF 2810002
which is only shown on the CD itself. Strangely,
there is a "consumer's code" on the back cover:
4 004016 604005. Could this be an illegal CD?
Regards, Jonas Warstad

Subject: (yello) Yello Music I am Looking For
Hello everyone. I am new to the list and have enjoyed Yello since I was 12
(29 now). Greatly admire Dieter Meyer's ability to juggle musician,
professional gambler, magician, father. There was just an article in
Architecture Digest (I believe) that profiled his Swiss home. Very unique and
challenging schemes and layout. On too business. As an ardent fan, I am
looking to complete my Yello collection with the following songs I found I am
missing as compiled on lazlo's discography. If anyone can assemble a tape of
these of if you even have a few, please let me know. Additionally, I am
looking for any videos from Baby, Pocket Universe, and Zebra. I have the
following Yello for sale if interested. Thanks in advance.

I saw the same in an ad from Lithuania ($9).
The number varies slightly as it states 281 002 which may be a typo.
Based on the other titles (non Yello) in the ad this looks like boot stuff.
At the top of the ad it indicates that they are all East European.
Best, Fred

Subject: (yello) Jungle Bill (The Andrew Weatherall re-mixes) as German CD-Maxi??
I saw a German catalogue number for a 12" and CD-Maxi
release of the UK 12" Jungle Bill (The Weatherall re-mixes)
on a list while in Zurich: (Mercury/Phonogram, 864 375-2/1)
Has anyone got or seen them? Or is it just the "German"
catalogue number on the UK release? JW

Subject: (yello) Unbelievable
Hi,
After using and perusing an excellent yellow Yello
discography I saw the song `Unbelievable` mentioned. This is one
of the only major releases I have`nt got. I wants it. I needs it. Is
it really `unbelievable`? Does Deiter go all crazy like on `Haunted
House`? God I love that song. Current fave = Who`s Gone. Is
it Boris who sings all that haunting stuff? I don`t care. It all
sounds perfect to me. Clouds. Love. Stars. Colours.
Tell me that you are in love with two old men at:-

Not really. :-) It's mostly samples from The Adventures Of Ford Fairlane,
which can have its appeal I suppose but which doesn't do too well over
repeated listenings.
