Item Title: Trek Memorabilia: Cage, No Man Gone Before
Here's the description for the item:
This is your opportunity to own a piece of Star Trek history! This is a *RARE* item... it's number 983 of only 5000 made. Remember those 12" 33.3
rpm records? This one is plated with genuine 24K GOLD and framed in a very nice black metal and glass frame measuring approximately 18" wide by
24" high with very well done black matte; in the same frame is the record jacket featuring a VERY young Captain Kirk and Mister Spock, playing a
game of 3D chess. The name "Crescendo Records" is prominent in the lower right hand corner of the jacket. There are also two gold plaques in the
frame, one saying "Star Trek original television soundtrack The Cage and Where No Man Has Gone Before, Limited Edition Gold plated record
983/5000." The other plaque certifies to the gold being 24K. Attached to the reverse side of the frame is a Certificate of Authenticity and a sticker from
Paramount Pictures. A VERY rough mental addition shows about 20 minutes of recording on the side visible (Side Two). I have no way to check the
other side without opening the frame and removing the record for examination - I do NOT desire to do so, obviously. Serious bidders only, please.
