  27. Hello everyone!

  29. This problem is getting more and more frequent.  Because the members of
  30. this list use a variety of mail readers all messages should be posted in
  31. simple ascii text with no formatting (color/font changes). Not posting
  32. simple ascii text means your message won't be able to be read by everyone
  33. meaning possible missed sale/trade opportunities.
  34.  
  35. Outlook Express and Outlook98 are the two biggest culprits. People who use
  36. Outlook probably don't realize that their messages are only viewed properly
  37. by others who use Outlook also. The rest of us get funny characters, no
  38. hard returns or other strange display problems.  This is caused by the way
  39. Outlook encodes the messages.  The following info can be used to configure
  40. Outlook to send "Friendly" text.

  45. A lot of people are using Outlook and Outlook Express as their mail client
  46. under Windows '95 and NT.  Unfortunately, the default character set under
  47. Express for email is 8859-1.

  49. To fix this, do the following:
  50.  
  51. If you are using Outlook, go to [Tools], [Services], Select [Internet
  52. Mail], then [Properties], and select [Message Format], unselect [Use
  53. MIME], choose [Character Set], and select [USASCII].
  54.  
  55. Under Outlook98 select [Tools], [Options], [Mail Format], then [Message
  56. Format], and choose [Plain Text] and hit [Apply].

  90. What do you call it when you go into a store, and just for the heck of
  91. it buy a few 6 packs of cards and get an autograph card out of it? ? ?

  94. Yep, I got an Odo/Rene Auberjonois autograph card. Looks just like the
  95. one i have scaned on my DS9 Profiles page. :)

  99. The price has fluctuated so much on these cards i,m not sure what to
  100. sell it for. It's gone as high as $120+ and as low as $60 or so. So
  101. gimmy an offer.. :|
