I think I know which one you're refering to, but could you describe it a
bit more, such as which characters are on the front (I assume only Kirk,
Spock, and McCoy, but others?), is the points-tallying mechanism all
mechanical or any electronics in the display, number of players, etc?
Might be seriously interested, if I can just remember what the critter
looks like. :-)

Greetings!
I am posting this message for my brother-in-law (from Raleigh, NC)
who is a Star Trek fanatic with a large collection, but
without access to the internet (he's working on access).
He is looking for the Next Generation figure:
Captain Picard from Tapestry 1701 (#6442)
WTT,WTB
Hopefully this information is accurate, he says it's about a $900 item.
If anyone has any information on this figure, could you please contact
me via email and I get your information to my brother-in-law.
Thanks,
Theresa

Hello everyone!
Just thought I'd send out a little info on this list. First off, we just
recently broke 100 users. I hope offers and wants will pick up now that we
are getting a decent base of users.
Other item I wanted to mention is about archived messages. I am currently
keeping all previous posts to this list in both digest and monthly formats
(actually majordomo does this for me). They are available either via
E-mail, FTP or WEB browser. Each method is discussed below.
If you have any questions on any of this please ask.
Happy Trading!

Well, well, talk about a voice from the past. Hiya Chris. You still in
the Huntsville area? Lost track of you about a year ago.
To drag this back onto subject, how much are you asking for this? I am
interested in it, but I don't want to make an insulting offer like $10 for
it. (smile)

I received my three a couple weeks ago and they were all damaged with large
creases in the cardboard during shipping that carried through to the sheets.

Well, I've received around a dozen responses on the damaged sheet issue.
From these few responses I'd say you had about a 50/50 chance of getting a
undamaged sheet.
Good News though is that I just called and they are replaceable. USA
Fullfillment is the one taking care of the replacement and they can be

Subject: trektrade: scanning services offered...
Date: 26 Jan 1997 14:11:16 PST
Are you thinking of selling something on one of the many
online auctions or classified sales sites on the Web ?
We offer a service that allows you to maxiumize your
earnings on your listing. Auction lots that include a
photo of the item for sale, sell faster and for more
money than ones that don't. The only problem is that
you need an expensive scanner and a Web site to be able
to do this. We can do this for you for a very small fee.
We will scan your photos, crop them, enhance them if
necessary and upload them to our Web site for storage.
We will then send you the URL address to include in
in your auction / ad listing, this will allow anyone who
clicks on to your ad to be able to view your photo 24
hours a day.
eBay AuctionWeb alone, has 5,000 viewers a day that log
on to view lots. This will be done in full color and we
can also include both front and back images of your item
if you send us pictures of both. Remember, the better
the photo, the clearer the scanned image. Original photos
are not damaged in any way during the process and can be
returned to you with a S.A.S.E.. We can also return your
image on a floppy disk for a small fee ( pc only ).
Buying something "Sight Unseen" brings back the horrors
of "Blind Dating"! Don't do this to your auction lots.
You only get one chance to sell them !
Not thinking of Selling ??
You could also use this service to store photos that you
would like others, like distant relatives or e-mail friends,
to be able to see. This could include photos of yourself,
your home, prized posessions, favorite pets, antique cars,
vacation photos or anything else you care to show. You also
could use this space as a Memorial page for a beloved lost
one.
Satisfaction Guaranteed !!
Rates are as follows:
Each photo: $1.00 / 1 month
" " $5.50 / 6 months
" " $10.00 / 12 months
Front and Back combo : add $.50 per month
Payment: Checks, Money Orders or $.32 US mint stamps
Above rates include: Scanning, Uploading, and Storage on
our Web site for the time period you select.
Polariod photos accepted, but are not the best
medium to scan from ( will allow you to preview )
For orders, inquiries or more infomation contact:
challenger2@juno.com
BTW, this works out to a little over 1/10 of one
cent per hour for a one month period ! Even less
for the longer durations. Such a Bargain !!!

I have the original shooting script for Generations, both drafts, that show

the film.

AUCTION RULES:
- I am an Admiral, which means I am very strict and unbending. I will
always listen, but I may choose not to concur. You screw with me and by
God, I'll have the entire fleet running up your hind end! :)
- If you wish to be anonymous, please give me a code name that you would
like me to use. Otherwise I will identify you by name or E-mail address.
- All bids must be in US currency.
- Minimum bids
Under $10 - .50 (fifty cents)
Under $50 - $1
$100 or more - $2
- In the event of a tie, the bidder who submitted the bid first gets the bid.
- This auction will be held on a NEW, 1, 2, 3, SOLD basis.
- Once a bid is made, that person is obligated to honor it. Failure to do
so could result in banishment from future auctions.
- Payments may be made by personal check or money order. Personal checks
will be held for 5 business days or until they clear.
- Shipping will be paid by the winner. The winner may choose the method of
delivery plus any other specifications as long as they cover the expenses.
- Updates will be given daily. But if bidding is extremely active, I may
post more than once a day.
- To accommodate people who do not have weekend access to the Internet, I
will not advance the goings until Monday, although I will continue accepting
bids and posting through the weekend.
- I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a bid, withdraw an item or change
anything I see fit to change. Barring unusual circumstances, nothing will
change and we*ll all have some fun.
Let's see what else is out there. Engage.
