Okay, I was pretty much staying out of this Jeff Pruitt thing, but I have
one thing to add.  I doubt he's real, but even if he's fake, I don't really
care, let him play.  RPG is fun.  Even though it's a little different.....
I might have believed him until he said that next season Buffy would get
cancer.  That would be something major!  There is no way Joss would allow
him to do that, and I'm sure Mr Pruitt wouldn't want to lose his job by
giving away the secrets.  Also, have any of you heard anything about this
anywhere?  I sure haven't.

I only posted this because I want the people that do believe him to explain
why he did that.

Sorry man, my friend wouldn't give me the email addresses of the other cast
members because he said that if I distributed them to everyone all the cast
members would get hounded by thousands upon thousands of emails from fans.
As he is a dedicated fan of SMG and the other cast members he thought that
it wasn't his place to distribute the addresses to me or other people. Sorry
everyone! I tried my best to convince him but he said he has his ethics. I
hope everyone can understand that and not hate him that much - SORRY! All
the best though in your efforts to contact the cast - look at it this way -
if we try now we might get Jeff to mail the list again - so everyone who was

well I definately believe Jeff is who he is. who cares if he can type or not
what counts is that he helps to make Buffy the best show on earth. however I
do think that you were really mean trying to and succeeding to hack into his
account, and why tell us and him... as if he's going to trust us now if he
thinks we are all idiots trying to invade his privacy. I'm not saying that
I'm not glad you did it but I think that a little more respect is needed,
afterall he seems to be a really nice guy. Please don't get mad at what I
have said. I think we should apologise to him and see if we can get it sorted
because who on this list isn't going to be kicking themselvesif we don't and
sarah finds out what's happenned?? We are supposed to be fans so i think we
should give this guy a real chance.

I'm not going to mention specifics about the "Prom" episode to not spoil
anyone's fun...but I must say that it is now my favorite episode...finally a
time in the show where sheer happiness, instead of sadness, made me get teary
eyed!!
Anyways, my question is....does anyone know the name of the song that was
played at the end of the prom...and who sings it?? It was just perfect!!

I think the Colorado shootings were a tragedy, but to censor or cancel TV
shows or movies is not the answer.  The Columbine assassins definitely had
serious mental health problems that would cause them to commit such crimes,
although I agree the subject matter of the next few episodes might be
sensitive to students and survivors of Columbine High School, 99% of the
violence taking place in Buffy The Vampire Slayer is in the realm of
Sci-Fi/Fantasy and in no way should be taken seriously.

about it, ANYONE can get an e-mail address at Hotmail and say, "Email me
because I'm whoever and I know this person".  People do it all the time, and
there's no way of telling if it's the truth or not.  It's probably just
someone who wants attention.
If it actually IS Jeff Pruit, then I'm sorry but I hope you can see why we
would be so skeptical.

Clinton said at a White House summit on teen violence, "if there is too much
violence coming out of what they see and experience."

His pacifist plea came two days after a U.S.-led NATO assault accidentally

not trusting and slanging someone off is no way to gain their trust. Mr
Pruitt may be a reliable source of information. If you wish to find out who
he is it is probably best to go to the 'official BVTS site' and to the
'Official posting baord' I have heard Mr.Pruitt is a regular here and his
ture Identity is shown by the fact that he has a 'special icon' by his name,
there you can find out his email address and verfy wether
[e-mail] (or whatever it is) is the real Jeff Pruitt or not.
But rember if you are hostile to him, and he is the real bloke you are
probably destroying all chances of an 'official connection with the show, as
well as having the multiplier effect of warding any others away from the
list, I hope this does not come too late.

Look, I was just stating some facts...I agree that this shit has gone on
too long
and I hope that we've finally heard the last one the issue, but a mailing
list is
for stating opinions as well as talking and exchanging information!!

In my opinion, he's not the real Jeff Pruit, but that's not to say that he
is or
he isn't and if I've given up the chance of becoming friends with him just
because
I don't believe him, then don't worry, I think I'll be able to live with
it.  You
have to understand, people are not mailing their disbelief just to get at
him or
you or anyone else who believes he's the real deal, they're doing it
because they
don't want some little shit head getting satisfaction out of coning
everyone and
as I said, if we're wrong, I'm sure we'll get over it, there's nothing from
stopping the rest of you from mailing him personally.

At the end of the day, you have to admit, it is a bit unlikely and I think
that if
it is the real Jeff Pruit, then it was a bit stupid of him to think that he
could
just arrive on our mailing list, throw in a few "well-known" facts and everyone
would believe that he was the real deal.  Anyway, I'm sick of all of this
arguing
to and fro.  Whether he's real or not, it doesn't matter, we shouldn't let it
start arguments between us all...:-)!!!!

Right on! Personally I'm skeptical about him, mainly because on the internet
you CAN be anybody and it's impossible to prove yourself, even if you are
yourself. I mean, who hasn't has met someone on the show claiming to be
someone famous? Like I've had people pretending to be Sarah and Alyson. It's
easy to impersonate, all you have to do is memorize a bio and be up-to-date
with what they're doing, like projects, and say something that sounds
important, and act all nice. Somehow people get off impersonating
celebrities. But you know what? It doesn't hurt anybody and it's also a waste
of time and posts to go back and forth bashing and subsequently defending.
People will believe however they want. Real Jeff or an impostor, he's said
he's gone, so I'll be the echo and say let's move on to something more
constructive. Please no more, the Jeff Pruitt horse is way dead and people
are still beating it like there's no tomorrow. And hey, if anyone meets Jeff
in person or is able to contact him directly, ask him about posting to the
list, if it matters that much, and get an official statement from him, just
so you can prove everyone else wrong, okay? (yes, that was sarcasm)

I think the mag you're refering to is Empire.  I do have that issue, but it
doesn't carry the deal anywhere near me.  Usually you have to take the mag to
the cinema by a certain date to get a pair of tickets.

ahead with plans to show a two-part season finale of "Buffy the Vampire
Slayer'' that depicts high school students arming themselves in
preparation for a cataclysmic "ascension.''

"We are airing the episodes. There are no plans to pull them,'' said
Julie Kingsdale, a spokeswoman for the youth-oriented network owned by
Time Warner Inc.

Her comments came the same day that President Clinton appealed again to
Hollywood to tone down the level of violence depicted in its films and
to stop marketing on-screen gore to young audiences.

Last month, the WB pulled a "Buffy'' episode slated for April 27 in
which the title character, played by Sarah Michelle Gellar, stumbles
onto a mass-murder plan hatched by fellow students.

The WB said then that the "Earshot'' episode was postponed because of
sensitivity about the real-life shooting rampage April 20 that left 15
people dead at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo.

Kingsdale declined to comment on a recent New York Times report that the
fledgling network had been contemplating possibly shelving the two-part
"Buffy'' finale, "Graduation Day,'' because of its depiction of
students with weapons.

Kingsdale said the story line involves Gellar trying to prevent the
