I read in an Unauthorized Biography that Sarah's favourite fragarances
are 'Amirage' by Givenchy and 'Allure' by Chanel. She also loves Vanilla
body lotion and vanilla scented candles. I thought the Furby would've
been a good idea but as someone has already stated she most probably has
recieved loads since that interview on Leno.
Another gift Idea would be perhaps on the theme of Buddhism or Greek
mythology since those seem to be her main intrests at present.
Regarding the financing of the gift here in the UK we are instructed to
send any contributions to Matt Garza, I just want to know how is the
money to be sent? I will not be sending any cash through the post so I
assume Cheques and Postal Orders are to be used.

Oh, and before I forget, HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In regard to the messages, I think it is impractical, watching the Jay
Leno show #5 Sarah produced a list of her 'crew list' for Buffy, and it
was several pages long probably listing around 500 peoples names alone,
and I think it would be a little tiring to read through all the names
alone, let alone messages as well. Therefore I think we have to restrict
ourselves to names alone, and a universal name (such as "smgfans") would
be a good way to remeber us (if she does).

i dont want to get bitchy and caught up in the details but - sarah does
yoga yes?
yoga is a buddhist practice nothing else believes in yoga so technically
she is in as loose a sense possible a buddhist .
i just asked if anyone knew more specific stuff i.e if she follows
a specific school or just does yoga

as far as the gift goes -we could just send a card for the birthday
and a huge gargantuan outstanding superb overwhelming earth-shatteringly
high quality gift could go any time coz it'll get noticed ( & even more
so for being a apparently random gift)

Firstly this rumor has been started because of what has developed on the
list, the ORIGINAL question was "Sarah is studying Buddism what sort?"
this does not mean to say she is a buddist!!!!!! my friend is studying
Buddism as part of an A-Level and I am thinking of studying Buddism but
if I do that will not make me a buddist (unless I want to take it
further).
OK here is where the info. came from originaly:
InStyle magazine November 1998:

"Today, back to buffy blond, Gellar-with the focus typical of an
ambitious talent-makes staying centered a priority. After lunch,
she heads for a personal yoga session. For the last year or so, she has
been spending 10 or 15 minutes a morning in her trailer
doing yoga meditation and also has been reading about Buddhism and Greek

See?
she reads about Buddism and Greek mythology I believe to help her get
through life.
And the yoga thing, also linked with Buddism, will be to relax her
because she leads a very stressful and busy life what with being on a
very physicaly demanding show and being amoung the bigest celebrities
around.
Believe me I have religion mainly because you are told by people around
you to believe in something and even if you change religions there can
not be a single religion that expresses your every wish and beliefs. But
Buddism there is something that makes a lot of sence and so if you read
about it you can take parts of it and your life will be improved.
Again, here is the TRUTH:
Sarah reads about Buddism, she is not a Buddist.

Someone mentioned that they had all the episodes of the show taped...but I
deleted the post by mistake.  I was never a huge fan of the show when it was
on, but I do remember it being really entertaining (and that Shane guy was
adorable!).  Anyways, I was wondering if anyone is willing to record some of
the old episodes for me...I'll send you the tapes, or if there's anything I
can dub for you then we can just do a trade.
Whoever mentioned that they had the episodes...please respond!!

I was reading all of your suggestions on what to give Sarah as a birthday
present and I thought, 'Why even send a gift?'.   I mean, does Sarah even
need anything else that she can't buy herself?  Let's think about this, there
are people with nothing, who would really appreciate anything we could give
them, but we are scrambling to find something for someone we don't even know,
who has anything she could want.  A bottle of vanilla scented lotion probably
won't mean much to her anyway (and does anyone wanna guess how much she
already has?).

I say, if you MUST get her something, save a baby seal in her name, since she
loves animals, or something like that.  At least let someone (or thing) else
benefit from it, too.  Don't you think that would touch her heart more than
some materialistic item?

It's like, I was watching Oprah the other day and she said if you want to
send her a gift, make a donation to her charity (sorry, I forget the name).

THAT IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA!!!! She loves Dolphins, this summer she went
swimming with DOLPHINS, what if we like save a dolphin or something!!!!! THAT
