actually, noone from the US can even vote for her, unless they are a
member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.  the
nominations i believe are already out for this year.  next year we'll
see.  but the Oscar's (or the Golden Globes for that matter) are not a
"People's Choice" kinda thing.  we gotta live with who they nominate and
vote for. so "taking things into our own hands" is kinda bogus.  she
could win an MTV award, or Blockbuster, or People's choice or whatever
from US voting, but unfortunatly, we have to leave the major award shows
up to someone else.  also, i think Sarah is a worthy actress for major
awards, however, The Hollywood Foriegn Press (Golden Globes) and the
Academy's overlook shows like Buffy.  we can't help that.  i think it
would be more likely that Sarah would win an award for a movie than for
Buffy, only because most award shows overlook "teen shows" or the type
of Sci-fi that Buffy falls into (vampires vs. other 'X-Files' kinda
stuff).  lets just wait and see... :)

([Matthew's Editor's note] Before you read any farther you must know that
this is almost impossible to verify as being a real e-mail from someone at
Fox.  I've used every resource available to myself and some of my "more net
literate" friends to try and verify this.  They and I cannot find a hole in
the mail's path to the list where it could be forged.  I enclosed the whole
path so that you can see where it came from and how it got to us.  The one
thing that struck most of us as hard evidence that this E-Mail might be
real was that it came from a Novell GroupWise server.  If you know Novell,
you know this setup isn't cheap.  Decide for yourself...and if anyone hears
anything back from Elizabeth please let the list know.)

Subject: (smg-fans) Faith For More Air Time

Hi Everybody,
I've been with this fan list for quite awhile now but I simply have
nothing to write about BTVS until now about Faith.  I know for 1 thing
Buffy and Faith are the best in my books.  Especially Faith I think
it's the way she looks or maybe she's very photogenic.  She's very
pretty and I didn't notice that until she appeared on Buffy a few more
times.  Yep, she has this tough look to her and a tough attitude.
She's on her own, living by herself and doesn't have any family that I
know of and she can sure take care of herself.  Maybe those traits
open my eyes and see her as this wonderful person, a touch slayer.  I
think she should be on every episode of Buffy from now on with more
air time.  What do you guys think?

If this is real, it is the coolest thing! Me and a friend were already
planning to go to Hollywood next month, but if I really do get tickets
to this premier, it'll be moved up to next week. Is anyone else going to
