Ok, any other "First Timers" out there that are going to Marlboro?? How
about a First Timers group?? That way all the "experienced" ones wont
trample us and take all the good stuff..LOL!!
Secondly, I keep seeing people mention hotels?? Is anyone going to be
needing a roommate? Or someone to either have as a passenger or need a
ride? Let me know, I live in New Hampshire.
Hey Carole, on your way to Tim Buck Two, why not stop at my house and
you can go with me??
Hugs,
Michele McNamara

Thanks to one of my b'day twins, Brenda Volpe for this cute card also!! =
This must be what is called 2 sided cs - it's green on the outside & =
white inside!! She has stamped 3 big sunflowers along the bottom of the =
card, colored them & then cut out just the bottom edge of the =
sunflowers!! Great idea!! Then she has embellished it with a huge =

I have read lots of posts about people being *rude* to those whose
disabilities aren't visible; but, by the same token, doesn't that mean (at
least to some extent) that those same people are kinda "guarding" the spots
for the disabled??? In a way, that's not all bad.....
Just my 2c.

Hi Everyone!
I just saw the post from Ruth Hindin regarding the package of 50 assorted
charms for $5.00. I know this is a rock bottom price and want to order
one. Can you tell me if you have ordered from Ruth before and if she is a
reliable vendor?
You may e-mail me privately and I will hold your comments in confidence.
Thanks, I know I can count on you!

I, too, have noticed lately that many of my stamps are now coming on "pressed
wood" blocks. I mentioned this to my local store owner and she explained.
Apparently, many of the RS manufacturers are now using "recycled" wood for
their mounts. In other words, they're taking wood used in other products,
returning it to pulp and then "pressing" it into mounts. JudiKins is one of
the cos that is doing this. In fact, a stamp I bought from JudiKins last week
had a sticker on it that says "Made from 92% post-consumer recycled wood."
Thought you might wanna know.

Subject: Re: RS: Re: A duh question -Reply
I'm a few days behind in reading my email so I don't know if you're still
chewing on the enamelware issue but traditional enamelware (sometimes
called spatter ware) is a porcelain coating baked on over tin or other metal.
It was used to make dinner ware (perhaps the kind you might associate
with camping but for general home use as well) and cookware including
pots and utensils. Although produced in many color variations, the most
common finish is a lapis-like blue with white speckles.
You'll find a lot of this at antique stores although enamelware has gained
new popularity over the last 10 years and can be found in new dishes and
such.
Although I've never seen the ep (in the store or on a stamped item), your
descriptions sound like the product is meant to be embossed over any
base color of ink. The white pieces suspended in clear ep would provide
the enamelware look. Maybe the best use of the product is to make
backgrounds or to be used with solid images. The effect would be very
"country" to my mind.
Hope this helps.

My enamel ware is actually *in* clear EP. That's why I bought it, 'cause I
thought it was clear. But it leaves tiny bits of white (really looks like
enamel) in the EP and it just looks weird.
