For a quick, impressive dessert, slice a pre-pckaged pound cake into three
horizontal layers. Spread chocolate frosting between layers, top with
chocolate frosting and sprinkles. Instant chocolate torte.

Just got mine yesterday. Boy, Ginny, what a lot of work you had to do.
Too bad so many dropped out at the last minute. Its so easy to join
swaps, but quiting at the last minute must devestate the hostess.
I love my book, there are several pages that are favorites. One is the
"N" page with the mini shaker scene and the nativity....and the mini book.
What a bunch of creative thinking and work.
Ginny, thanks for hosting and the heart stamps. I love them.

plenty of time to "Clean" but never enough time to play with your

pretty and she NEVER had time to play...I refuse to allow this to happen

happy in my toy clutter house with my three sons and one big

As far as the glitter glue around the stamps go......
I did that and went to the post office to mail it (wanted it hand-canceled).
The clerk said I couldn't mail it because there isn't supposed to be anything
like that around the stamp. The stamp was now worthless.....another 32 cents
down the drain. So be careful. Of course, I cheated....I went home and put
it in my mailbox. My mom got it just fine.

I discovered this myself several months ago. Using the rest of the foam only

plastic off one side. The foam was stuck to her little face. So, I think,
"Hey, Caroline....you're wasting valuable stuff there." Since then, I haven't

If you have any mailing labels that do stick well (plain white sticky
labels) try putting one (or more as needed) where the stamps would go, and
stick the stamps to it.

How I wish someone were home here, too. DH is active duty Navy. We just
started recruiting duty, so are currently not in a military town. After 10
years, this is strange. Most of us stay home. It makes it easier on our kids
when Dad is on a deployment. No one here is homemaker. I find it kind of
disconcerting to have no friends with similar intrests. While I have made a
few friends at stamp store, all of them work outside the home. Daytime is
convenient for me, eves for them. Hard to get together. Oh, well. I'll
adjust. After 7 moves in 11 years, I've learned to make some major
adjustments.

I agree with you Bentley, there are stampers in the midwest and not enough
stamp stores, conventions or clubs around for us. I take it there isn't a
convention listed in RSM for Chicago this year?
I found out that Amish Country in Crystal City, MO is having a Rubber
Rendezvous April 17th and 18th. They are having 6 classes for $25 each. I
don't think everything is final just yet but if anyone wants more information
they can call 314-937-1616. I'm sure there will be a limited number of spaces
since their store although large in relation to the number of stamps they
carry, it isn't set up for hundreds of people for classes. Unless they have it
some where other than their store this year.

Maybe someday...........

Jo,
If you hear from Lissa, tell her I'm thinking about her. We have a major ice
storm in progress here (Vermont) too. All the schools in the state are
closed, even the University of Vermont, which never closes. People are being
warned by the State Police not to go anywhere unless absolutely necessary.
So it's home with the kids today, maybe do some cleaning and hopefully some
stamping too!!!!
Love and hugs

You have to use the right kind of plastic, also if you put actone in a
spray bottle, the bottle will last hours instead of weeks.
