  21. I have three boys also but mine are older 18, almost 12, and 10 and boy do=
  22.  they love to eat . I usually cook big meals so they can eat leftovers for=
  23.  lunch and then an hot meal for dinner . I know what you are saying our=
  24.  food bill is big . They love dad to cook them breakfast on school days but=
  25.  with vacation time its cold cereal time . Trying to keep all the dishes=
  26.  washed is an biggie here . For I dont have  an dishwasher except one named=
  27.  mom . I am working hard for them to wash their own what an stuggle that is=

  100. Costco.  Up 'til now, there was no such store in our area.  Well, I'm driving
  101. around today, and, lo and behold, there's a sign for a new Costco coming soon!

  103. I know I should be excited about this, since there seems to be some wonderful
  104. supplies for stamping use.  However, what exactly *is* Costco?  A warehouse
  105. club?  If so, is there a membership fee, like some of the other clubs?  Or,
  106. can anyone just walk in and shop there?

  151.     I need to buy stock in McDonalds. My son Shaun, is almost 15 and about
  152. 6'3". His favorite meal is McDonalds cheeseburgers, fries and a coke,
  153. supersized. His favorite trick is to gaze (endlessly) into the refrigerator
  154. and pantry as if something good to eat is going to materialize in front of
  155. him. LOL He drives me especially crazy at dinner time when he asks me 27
  156. times whats for dinner and wanders around the kitchen while I'm trying to
  157. cook.

  217. and for hotel room?  Are there many places to stay in the area/  I won't

  222. this one and one in PA.  Is one show better than another?  When can I find

  287. I am having some problems with my first attempts at embossing.  I 
  288. have tried it a few times and the result keeps ending up a bit 
  289. mottled ('splotchy').  Could it be one of the following:

  291. 1.  Heat gun too hot (I am using a paint stripper type heat gun with 
  292. an adjustable temp)
  293.  
  294. 2.  The embossing powder I am using (Rubber Stampede brand I think, 
  295. silver color)

  297. 3.  I am not heating it for long enough.  I tried holding the heat 
  298. gun there for quite a while and nothing happened.

  337. It seems as if there are alot of us out there with this and chronic fatique=
  338.  syndrome. I did other crafts till I got these two diease processes ,wonder=
  339.  if that is how alot of us got into stamping . Its been an wonderful=
  340.  discovery for me even though I have alot of pain I deal with, but I=
  341.  probley wouldnt of had time for stamping if I hadnt taken ill . I was an=
  342.  RN and an mom of three and so it was very busy for me . I love to now be=
  343.  creative with stamping and I share it whenever I can . I have read alot=
  344.  lately on the list of others with this maybe we have an story line for=
  345.  Oprah or Jenny jones ? I do think we are of an different bunch , we seem=
  346.  to have an heart for sharing and caring about others that I dont see in=
  347.  many other people . Speaking of support if there is anyone in need of  an=
  348.  open ear to listen  to them  ,I do alot of support  work and teaching=
  349.  about this to people here in Northern Texas area . I have had it for=
  350.  almost nine years now and so its an old hat with me . I have learned how=
  351.  to live with it and let it enhence my life not hinder it .

  459. I got the classic Winnie the Pooh alphabet set today and should find 
  460. it very useful but I did have one major problem with the set.  The 
  461. front of the box shows mostly 'classic' Pooh style illustrations and 
  462. says nothing about DISNEY anywhere on the box (at least prominently). 
  463.  The back of the package shows all of the stamps as 'actual size' 
  464. reproductions but they failed to leave 36 things off of all of these 
  465. reproductions -

  469. I felt like taking it back but I did get it for a good price and it 
  470. isn't that hard to cut off the copyright crap from each stamp.

  472. I wish they could do a better job of aligning these sets, many of the 
  473. stamps are not aligned consistently making it a little hard to stamp 
  474. words that are lined up.

  566. I think that it is OK to hostess more than one at a time.  I know that it
  567. makes me think a little more creatively to come up with a swap topic.  I don't
  568. think that there can be too many swaps going on at once on the list.  I like
  569. the choice.  As a hostess myself,  I have hostessed 3 at once before.  That
  570. was a bit crazy, but I received the best entries with those swaps:  Fish,
  571. White on Dark, and Claudia Rose.  I am currently trying to come up with a swap
  572. topic that is a little different.  I'll let the list know of it when I dream
  573. it up.

  660. My local office supply store has several 12-sheet packs of color transfer foil
  661. (8.5 x 11" sheets) on clearance for $3.88 (reg. $8.99, list $15.95).  This is
  662. the kind of foil you use in photocopiers, laser printers and laminators.  
  663.  
  664. Can this foil also be used with some of the foil adhesives you buy in stamping
  665. stores, or with double sided tape?  I've never worked with foil before, so I'm
  666. not sure if I can use this other than with the laser printer.

  1084. I just talked to Hero Arts. They are in the process of mailing out
  1085. the new 1998 catalogs today. I assume they will send them 4th class.
  1086. She said I should have it next week. She asked if I would wait to
  1087. order till I get it as there are a lot of things discontinued.
  1088.   As soon as I get it and know what it will cost I'll be taking
  1089. orders for them. I'll let you know as soon as I do.
  1090.  So Hero I have listed as ordering on Jan. 5 will be later..

  1110. It is two pansy flowers in lavender, with leaves all around. (I guess in
  1111. shrink art, but I have never done it, so not sure.)    It appears to have
  1112. been painted from the back side, showing the colors softly through.
