Subject: RS: Santa and Giggles / TAN: Part 1 Merry Christmas
hi Santa and Giggles,
Sorry this is so late but I have my 80 year old Dad here for the holidays
and couldn't be on line long enough to watch everything but Santa and
giggles certainly visited here last night. We were making those molasses
cookies and meat bread when they came flying by. We lifted them up a
package and of they flew. Thank you so much for the crimped paper. There
are so many chioces. Almost better then having a crimper. You did al the
work and delivered it too. Couldn't be better than that. your paper chioces
are perfect. Of course, Santa knows all.
I am praying for success with your cemo and I hope you gave your Doc. a
piece of our minds for scheduling you on the 23rd. I guess thats better
than the 24th. LOL
We Love you and again I thank you.
This was so much fun.
BLESSED CHRISTMAS,
Connie

It's finally here.....I'm so excited.....I just can't stand it.....I have
been singing all day long....."Here comes Peter Cottontail hopping down
the bunny trail......oops....wrong season......never mind!
The Elves have worked all day long getting the sleigh packed for all the
little stampers and Santa told me to get in the sleigh that he would be
right out....on my way getting into the sleigh I passed Blitzer and told
him how famous all the stampers had made him this year.....he is just
thrilled to death......living in Rudolph's shadow for far too long! So
now all of your know what a Blitzer is.....it's a reindeer!
That should put an end to that discussion! LOL! Santa finally gets in
the sleigh and I ask him if he remembered to bring extra batteries for
Rudolph's Nose.....don't want to be in the dark! He says he has bunches
of them and then he lifts the reins and calls out, "Tally Ho!" Wait a
minute!!! Tally Ho????? I don't remember that in any of the stories
with Santa!!!! Santa just smiles and says, "It works." Off we go!
I think I should have put more Halo Fuzz on my head because it sure is
cold up here! Burrrr! Our first stop is Quebec Canada at Lissa Albert's
house. Lissa is standing on the porch screaming and shouting with
excitement or at least we thought it was excitement until we discovered
Lissa's MIL got ran over by the reindeer! Oh My! That will teach her to
be mean to Lissa!!!! LOL! Little Sammy and his older brother is fast
asleep in their little bed with visions of sugar plums dancing in their
heads......I'll have to talk to Lissa about all the sugar these kids must
be eating to have sugar plums dancing in their heads!!! As Lissa tries
to calm her MIL down I sneak into her room with her House Mouse Stamps
and I spot the one with the stick in his hand and pop it into my
pocket.....it's little....she will never miss it! Santa is stuffing his
face with all types of Jewish delights as I put the presents near the
Menorah. Happy Hanukkah Lissa and many 1998 bring you as much joy as you
gave me in 1997!
Ok now Santa could we try and land at the next stop without hurting
anyone? Ummmm....Next stop ME..... Julie Carleton's house. Glittergirl
sure does have a lot of cats! No wonder she blames all her mistakes on
the cats!!!! Santa heads for the goodies as I put Julie's package under
the tree and there is a package there for me, Peter Pan and
Tinkerbell!!!! It isn't wrapped so I get to peek inside and there are
all kinds of candy goodies and Snoopy with a box for a trinket for me and
Peter Pan and some balls with bells for Tinkerbell! Thanks for the
wonderful surprise! Have a wonderful Christmas and a very stamping New
Year! Next stop is Connie Maginnis' house......she wanted a Crimper but
you see with all the complaints on the list lately on how they don't work
properly Santa and I thought we would save you that headache and give you
something else instead.....nice of us, huh? So your package is under
your tree and we hope you like it....by the way can I just dump the rest
of these chocolate thingies in my pocket? Yummmm! Shhhh! We have to be
quiet because we are going to sneak into the Silver Fox and see what new
stamps they have. Don't wake Donna as she needs her beauty rest....(this
is a real joke for those of you who know Donna knows she is a beautiful
lady!)......I need the lady and the mailbox. I've used mine so much the
mailbox is falling off the stand! LOL! Merry Christmas Silver Fox!!!
Next stop VT..... Wendy Bean's house. Oh for heaven's sake.....Wendy
wished she knew what a blitzer was so I think it is only fair that she
has to come outside and kiss the Blitzer Reindeer, don't you? While she
is doing that I am inside going through her stamping drawers.....she has
lots of them! Santa is mumbling because the cookies are not
homemade.....uh oh....Wendy....this isn't looking good for you.....I
better get this fat ole' man out of here before he notices I left your
package anyway! LOL! My wish for you is that 1998 puts an end to the
hassles and battles for you and your children and life can be what it was
intended to be.....peaceful! Love you bunches!
Next stop NH.... Michele McNamara's house where I can smell chocolate for
miles away....ummmm.....Santa is beginning to drool....oh that's not a
pretty sight! Now there is a wonderful List Paper Vendor in NH and
Michele's wish was different types of paper! This was an easy one!
Santa and I will be glad to give you a personal tour of Shari's Paper Art
Store anytime you want......it will cost you some of that pink vellum and
yellow vellum she carries though! Tee Hee! Have a wonderful Christmas
and I hope to meet you at Shari's soon! Tsk Tsk Tsk.....I can't believe
only one NH stamper signed up for Santa to visit with them.......Oh
my......I guess they will have to wait until next year!!!! See what you
are missing Jamie and Linda???? Well Merry Christmas anyway....I still
like both of you! You just didn't want to make any cookies for me and
Santa....I know the real reason!
Next Stop MA... Marcia Balonis who wished for Kilban Stamps and this one
really stumped Santa and I so I hope whoever her new SSS is can figure it
out. I even asked a woman in a stamp store and she didn't know....oh my!
Hope you enjoy the present that Santa leaves you instead! Have a
wonderful Christmas and I hope 1998 we get to stamp together! Annette
didn't put her wish in either but then hers is being granted as she will
be spending Christmas Eve with Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and me! LOL!
Next Stop is CT.....Carrie Lebeau who asked for a stamping surprise and
that is what she got.....It is such a surprise that I'm not sure what it
is! LOL! Uh oh.....put a lock on your refrigerator.....Santa is getting
hungry!!!! Oh my.....Sorry Carrie I should have let him drive through
McDonald's! On to Betsy Ritter's house where almost anything can
happen.....I'm letting Santa go in first....that way if she has boobie
trapped the house he gets it first! Ha! Actually, I need him to keep
her busy so I can sneak and get one of those gorgeous stained glass
angels she makes....I'm not proud....I'll steal anything tonight! LOL!
We tried to get typing lessons for Betsy for Christmas but everyone we
talked to said they just didn't think they could help out Betsyitis!
Poor Betsy....the heck with poor Betsy! Poor anyone who has to try and
decipher what she types! Yikes!!!! Hugs and kisses to you my friend and
get your butt back to NH quick! I miss you!
Next stop RI...... Janice Rollin's house where we are leaving something
very special. She gets an extra helping of courage, strength and love
from the whole list to help her through all her future decisions as none
of them will be easy! You get a triple dose pain medicine! LOL! My
biggest wish for you my friend is in 1998 (after the treatments you
decide on) you find out that you are Cancer Free! You make me so proud
to know you! Santa get away from her......she doesn't need you to
measure her for a new .......oh my! Sorry Janice!
Next stop NY and boy there are a lot of stampers here. Maggie the Night
Owl keeps all of us remembering what is important in life every day so
Santa should be especially good to her but instead he is checking out all
the candy dishes in the house.....is this man a glutton or what? DAD
Frank hasn't been really good this year according to MOM Janet.....we
know that she would never tell Santa a lie.....so Santa decided that he
should leave you coal until he found out the price of that stuff and
decided that was even too good to leave! LOL! So your gift isn't much
but at least Santa thought leaving your some brown reindeer poop in shape
of a candy bar was what you deserved! (Aren't you proud of me MOM
Janet?) Karen Wasserman has been a very good little stamper this year
and her wish was to see some stamping example so could some of the
stampers please send her some cards and please tell her Santa and giggles
sent you! I think you can stop practicing making your Chocolate Mousse
because it tastes heavenly to me! Happy Hanukkah, Karen and have a
wonderful New Year! Lisa Weiner wished for a brayer & Rainbow
Pads.....now wouldn't you think that a girl with the last name of
"Weiner" would wish she could change her name? LOL! You will find your
present next to your lovely Menorah....oh Santa....let go of the Matzo
Balls! Can't take you anywhere! Very happy Hanukkah to you and your
hubby! Then off to Debbie Collier's house because she told me she always
makes lots of chocolate since she likes as much as I do so we have to
stop there and take a peek at some of the goodies she has! Wow! She
made Snickerdoodles! I love Snickerdoodles!!!! Santa....I'm staying
here! Oh, alright, I get in the sleigh but someone else better have some
Snickerdoodles for me! Have a wonderful Christmas Debbie and I'll be
back for more Snickerdoodles!
Next on to NJ and would you believe there are no stamping wishes from
that state but I know there are some special stampers in that state....My
SSS in round 4 lives in NH! Where are you Chris????? And what about
KalicoKathy????? Too busy playing with that grabem bag, huh? And then
there is Karen Harris who has all those clear envies......ummmm.....Hey
Santa stuff some of these into your pockets!
No wishes from DE stampers......good thing......it's sleeting here and I
don't think the reindeer would be able to stop on all that ice!!! Yikes!
No wishes from MD but we have to stop here anyway.....no I don't have to
go to the bathroom.....I have to see the Rubberchicken Lady's new store.
You know I have noticed that this year none of our List Vendors from last
year ask for me and Santa to Stop and Visit them......could it be because
your inventory was short after Christmas? I just thought I would help
you making less to count! How unappreciative you all are! Humpf! See
if I take as much this year.......I'll take more!!!! Well, I see the
Rubberchicken Lady still hasn't cleaned up that chicken feed in front of
the store....the reindeer will be clucking before the night is over! Oh
my!
Next onto PA to see June Koziar whom I had the great pleasure of meeting
this past August. Her wish was that I would stop and play......you just
may get your wish! But until then I hope you like the gift Santa and I
left for you! The Christmas Village is beautiful....glad I got to fly
over PA! LOL! Oh Ruthann.....another Vendor afraid to request a wish,
huh? Well.....I know you are in PA and I know you have House Mouse
Stamps in stock so you can't hide from me and Santa......Open up this
door!!!! Besides, I'm freezing and I need some hot cocoa!!!!! Then
another List Vendor trying to hide her rubbers from Santa and I.....shame
on you Mariann of Simply Cute and Pretty Stamps!!!! But that didn't stop
Santa and I from wondering around looking at all the new stamps you are
coming out with! Oh la la! And yet another List Vendor trying to hide
her rubbers in PA is Painted Turtle Studio's.....as if I wouldn't find
that darling little unmounted with those cute dancing pigs!!! Ha! Too
bad Susan...now you have to do your counting all over again! Tee Hee!
Lots of stampers in VA......first stop is at Carol Roop who wished for
anything....gee that could be kind of dangerous from me and Santa! LOL!
I guess you will learn to be more specific next year! ROTFLMBO! Good
thing all the Reindeer Poop went to DAD Frank! Ha! Ha! Next stop is at
Kate and George Pacheco's home and there was a little bit of a mishap
there....blush, blush.....Rudolph fell in love with Kate! Oh my it was
so embarrassing and George it wasn't really nice to encourage Rudolph in
believing he could have your wife! Oh my! Santa was no help of course
because he went straight into the house for the food! That man is going
to be 100 pounds heavier before the night is over! We didn't stay long
as we didn't want to encourage Rudolph to keep making the goo goo eyes at
Kate but I want you to know that for miles Kate Rudolph would look back
in your direction! LOL! Next stop is at Betsy Bursey's house who asked
for time to stamp! Well, now.....time to stamp.....lots of stampers
asked for this one......do Santa and I look like a Timex Salesperson?????
Geez, what these stampers don't ask for!!!!! Merry Christmas VA
Stampers and a very happy and healthy New Year!!!
No wishes from WV boo hoo! I guess they don't have stamps in that state!
We will have to petition Congress about this one!!!
No wishes from NC........ok, now what gives? Has the sun fried their
brains or what?
Next stop SC ... Annette Zanders (anno) wishes she could see some of the
Art Institute Glitter so could Betsy Ritter please send a picture of her
face with glitter on it to her! ROTFLMBO! Oh sorry, couldn't help
myself! While Santa tries and makes glitter from Fairy Dust, I'll just
go inspect the goodies! I should have brought a bigger bag! I'm running
out of room for all these goodies! Uh oh! What is Santa doing now?
Hey! what are you doing in the fireplace???? She wants glitter not
black ashes! I think she will know the difference! Geez! Let's get out
of here before she takes all the goodies away!
Next Stop GA....Oh my this is a state filled with stampers too. Diana
Gehert wished for 1/8" hole punch....silly Santa thought that was
something for pieced ears so heavens only knows what present will be
under her tree! Yikes! Julie Hohenstein says she loves surprises....she
doesn't know Giggles and Santa very well.....she's new to our list
family....she will learn! ROTFLMBO....I have to stop off and visit with
Wendy and Don at Appalacian Arts.....they have a bazillion designs I
would love to have! Hey Santa why don't you just take that stack of
rubber there and you can drop it off at my house later! Tee Hee!
Figures! He isn't even listening to me.....he is too busy feeding his
face again.....and drinking cider from those mason jars! geez! Off to
see Tonya and slip some of her "toys" out of her new shop! Ha! Ha! I'm
only trying to help with inventory counting for our Vendors!!! I am
..... really I am! I am making a BIG scarfice taking all this rubber!!!!
Look out Florida here we come!!!!!

Subject: RS: My SS and Santa
This afternoon Santa arrived all dressed out with a package from my
SS! Santa came via Sheryl Porter. I got a large Christams tin full of all sorts
of things. I got a package of 4 rulers with stencils in the middle.
I'm going to sponge the stencils and see if it works. A soft flexible
ruler. I'm always looking for rulers and these will all stay with my
stamp things. A whole bunch of red and black check and also green and
black check paper. I've been admiring these at Sheryl's for awhile.
Some cardstock that looks like wood grain, Some very large white
evelopes - perfect for stamping. A sheet of peel and stick paper, a
cow hole punch. I also got 4 drawstring muslin bags of various sizes
that will great to decorate. Inside one of the bags was some gold
mylar. This will look great on a card. There were also some
laminating sheets(Sheryl knows I have a machine), bunches of 1"
square white stickers for making my own stickers, some burgandy
glossy cardstock, , a butterfly slinky (which my 5 year old will not
leave alone. He loves slinkys). A calendar from Blockbuster with a
coupon for every month (my 10 year old has his eyes on those) and
last but not least 9 strips of loop tape. How did you know I needed
that so bad. It's even on my Christmas list too. The only thing that
was not in there was a clue as to who you are. At one time I thought
I knew but recently I'm not sure. Will you give me a clue?

Oh Feathers this is my most favoritest song in the whole world; if I
could find someone capable of singing it with me I'd sing it all the
time! Well, actually I sing both parts one at a time all the time. It
is from the opera Lakme', by Leo Delibes. It is called the Flower or
Garden duet. It is princess Lakme and a maidservant; I'm not sure what
the whole opera's about, but I *love* this song! British Airways has
been using this song for many years now. Call your local classical music
station to hear it performed as it was originally written. It is also
used in the score to the vampire flick "The Hunger". I purchased a tape
of highlights from the opera many years ago, and there was also another
song , "Song of the Bells", I believe, that'd knock your socks off.

Sutter Stamps are wonderful folks... Carol Sutter does a wonderful job on
all her stamps but I especially like the wildlife and landscape scenes that
she does. The nice thing about these stamps is that they can go together
to make a wonderful scene. The Marble It stamp makes a wonderful
marbleized background....great little stamp. My favorite is the Three

For one thing....there always seem to be more tans this time of year, due
to the holidays etc. You should have been here last year....now that was a
year of tangents. In fact we had to form the Ant Judy Fan Club in order to
save the list. Those tans were flying every which way. Good thing she has
such a wonderful group of peacekeepers to be on the bored of directors.
Now all AJ does is periodically give out a fire extinguisher or two....but
for the most part, all is well. Some of us need a break from reality and
this list gives us a good jumping off point. So hang in there those of you
that are fed up with the babbling and squabbling and gossiping....stamping
will begin again. However, not until Santa comes back to Washington and
personally shares a cup of toddy with us all.
Merry Christmas to all....

Poor Bunny ;-(
- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
I'm saddened to announce the passing of "THE ENERGIZER BUNNY"
His death occurred in the early morning on December 21, 1997.
The ENERGIZER BUNNY, known best for "going and going and going..."
passed away last evening at 12:42 a.m. Upon completion of the autopsy
early in the morning, the chief medical examiner ruled that the death
was caused by acute cardiac arrest, induced by sexual
over-stimulation. Foul play has not been ruled out.
Apparently, someone put the batteries in backwards and the bunny
was found just "coming and coming and coming..."

My Christmas E-Mail
by Unknown Author
I have a list of people I know, all logged in my computer,
And now at Christmas time I have gone to take a look.
And that is when I realize that these names are a part,
Not of the computer they're stored in, but of my heart.
For each name stands for someone who has crossed my path sometime,
And in that meeting they've become the rhythm in each rhyme.
And while it sounds fantastic for me to make this claim,
I feel that I'm composed of each remembered name.
And while you may not be aware of any special link,
Just meeting you has changed my life, a lot more than you think!
For once I have met somebody, the years cannot erase,
The memory of a pleasant word (or E-mail) or of a friendly face.
So never think my Christmas E-mails are just a mere routine,
Of names upon an address list, forgotten in between.
For when I do a Christmas E-mail that is addressed to you,
It's because you're on the list of people I'm indebted to.
And whether I have known you for many years or few,
In some way you have been a part of shaping things I do.
And now that Christmas has come, I realize anew,
The best gift life can offer is meeting people like you.
May each and everyone of you have a WONDERFUL Holiday Season and a
Healthy
& Prosperous New Year. I love you all.
I know some of us haven't chatted in awhile, but please know that you are
in my heart & in my thoughts.
So many crafts, too many pokers in the fire,
never enough hours in the day......

I received my order form VLVS last night, very good service. I paid with a
CC since I ordered through e-mail. (I disguised the number, for those who
would say this is dangerous.) I put down on the order the full price of the
items, a pound of rubber form VLVS and Stamp Me Tender, but he charged me
the Disaster sale price anyway. Here I am trying to give him a bit of help,
and he still gives me the best prices. I think his normal price for a pound
of rubber is a good deal, so $15 is great.
How much does a pound of unmolded rubber cost? I know it can't be too much,
but I don't think Stampo is making very much money at $15 a pound for images

I have seen a stamp set of the ASL alphabet. IF Ican remember who carried it
I will let you know.
My son took sign in Adult Night School when he was 10-- cause he wanted to.
He kept it up for 2 years and I do not think he regreted one second of it.
Wish our schools in NJ would recognize it and treat it the same as
French/Spanish/etc. Then maybe more folks would become aware.

Subject: RS: A Christmas Message.....
Hello
Rubberstamping Friends
I'm sitting here listening to beautiful Christmas music at 8:00 on this
wonderful Christmas Eve. Thinking of
all the things I have and how happy I am to be alive and able to
celebrate christmas with my family. My daughter and her family, my son
and his wife and my husband will be with me. I will miss my other
children and grandchildren,
but I know they are all well and that is a lot to be thankful for.
I'm going out soon to buy a Christmas ham and any other little last
minute things. Tonight we will have a Christmas Eve get together here at
my home. We'll have clam chowder (a little idea I got from feathers)
little sandwiches and lots of goodies. We'll each open a gift.
Tomorrow we'll open our other gifts and then go out for breakfast. Later
we'll go to Tracys for Christmas dinner.
I would like to take this time to Wish you all A wonderful Christmas.
Lets all be thankful for what we do have and enjoy our families.
Happiness to all!!
Love
becky-bear
