Hmmm. I just double checked the angel list, and this is what it said:
Personal Stamp Exchange
ANGEL POLICY: We now allow work made with our stamps to be sold as long
as the
following conditions are met: The item must be stamped by the person
selling it, the
seller can't hire someone to stamp the items for them. A sample of
everything that is
being made (It will not be returned to the stamper ) must be sent to PSX
and a written
agreement provided by PSX must be signed and sent with it. They want a
sample of every shirt, pants,.shorts, lightswitch cover (you get the
idea) that is made and they would have to receive a sample of it to be
approved before more could be made for resale. Credit must be given to
PSX as the orgin of the stamps.
Angel, a very conditional angel policy, yet angel.

Let me see if I am clear here...let's say I am participating in a swap...you
think that I should describe my cards in a post when I send them?? Wouldn't
that kind of take the fun out of it for the swap?? I sure think it would!
I know that it is frustrating for some to never see their cards described.
Maybe if those folks are really that concerned over it, they should enclose
a little note in each of their swap cards and please ask the people who
receive them to post!

<< Hi all! My husband and I are coming up on our 10th wedding anniversary
and I really really want to get him something special. But I have noooo
ideas. He's a very happy, content person and gifts don't usually mean
as much to him as they do me (we have different "love languages" so to
speak) but I want to find something really special for him. Any ideas?
All are appreciated! >>
One Christmas I couldn't think of stocking stuffers for my husband so I
made a bunch of "coupons" for him. I can't remember them all but they were
for things like:
I will wash the dishes
I will wash your car
I will make you dinner even if I don't feel like cooking.
My all time favorite one was: This coupon is to end a fight.
The idea was that if we were fighting (something we almost never do - well
. . . never mind) he could hand me the coupon and I would shut up, right
then, without another word.
He really liked them but he's never cashed even one in. I know he still has
them so I'm worried that they're all going to come out at once.

Brenda (and everyone),
Big vote of approval for Shari from me. I haven't received my order yet but
that's because I *just barely* mailed the check. She has, however, worked
VERY hard to make sure that my order was exactly how I want it. I asked
about some exotic paper and she's putting together a custom sample pack for
me so that I know what's available. She must have emailed me 10 times one
day because I was confused about some stuff. She's very patient. Also, I
lost my order and couldn't remember what I ordered or how much I owed her.
She had a copy of my order and sent it to me so that I could confirm it one
last time before shipping. That's good service.
I'm really looking forward to receiving my order and I have complete
confidence that it will be as specified and timely. Oh, I had a check fraud
problem and she offered to send the package airmail so that I wouldn't have
to wait a long time. Very thoughtful.
I just reread this and realized something about myself, I'm a ditz! Oh,
well, go with it.
Cheers!!!
Christine

I guess I have some strange tastes . . . and a liking for Daniels.
I think I'd like to find Jeff Daniels under my tree. He's so adorable.
Or if I can't have him, I'd like William Daniels (he played John Adams
in 1776 and is the principal on Boy Meets World). I know he's an old
guy, but there's just something about him that stirs up my innerds.
Or Matthew McConaghy (sp?), Andrew McCarthy, Noah Wylie, Terry Labonte
or Rusty Wallace. Or any of the Baldwin Brothers OR any of the Bridges
brothers. Speaking of families . . . Martin Sheen or Emilio Estevez
(forget Charlie, he hangs out with hookers).
So, they're not "hunks" per se, but someones gotta want them!

First, thanks so much to Sandra Luck for hosting and for all the extra
goodies. You are such a terrific person. Here are the wonderful cards I
received.
Sandra Luck- a wonderful Southwestern postcard on black mat board with silver
spray web. Then a stamp of pots and a genko from my line of stamps. This is
a great sample card for me to keep. Glued to the card are beads and a gold
coin.
Jas- a card with a pretty DOTS girl mounted over purple pansies. The whole
card has a purple them. Very nice
Heather Reilly-great layered card of a cat exercising. Very funny.
Sharon Sandahl-layered Christmas card with bird feeder with birds. All
layered in greens and reds. Very elegant.
unknown-Pretty card with chickadees(large from PSX) and music score. Done in
blues. I just love chickadees. Gotta get this stamp(Did you catch that
SS???)
Karla Williams-great card with a cat on mirror paper peeking through green
ivy leaves. Very unique card.
Thanks to everyone, especially Sandra, for the beautiful art, Tonya Rilling

Patti,
You hit the nail on the head (as far as my feelings go). I will
never describe the cards that I send out, because that is not the point
IMHO. It is a nice side benefit that the whole list can read the
descriptions and get ideas, but the main reason to post descriptions is
to acknowledge the effort and art of the swappers!
By reading a post where someone says "I love the way that you
*****", then you know that it was well-received. You can tell from the
descriprions what jumps out at people. Sometimes you can tell (by
ommission usually) what might not have worked so well in your card.
I could post the 1-2-3 steps of my cards, but that would never
replace some of the uplifting and encouraging desciptions that I have
read of cards here on the list. Those posts have encouraged me to keep
participating in swaps. If my cards went off into a vacuum every time,
I know I would eventually stop participating.

Subject: RS: Angel Company--not really in my opition
I would say angel not, that is just standard copyright licensing.
If you sent them something that was REALLY great and they thought
it would make a lot of money, they would not grant a license and
then they would do it themselves. And if they did that, you could
only stop them by going to court, you against the big company.

I am mainly a lurker here on this list because I am very new to stamping and
not very good at all-------YET. I'll keep working on it. Joined the newbie
swap and was grateful for that opportunity being made available.
Anyway, just an opinion from the lurker gallery here but, I first subbed JUST
to read the descriptions. I wanted to learn and get ideas and buy stuff,
and get ideas and buy stuff, and get ideas, and buy stuff............LOL

Hi Tonya,
Just wanted to let you know I recieved my order of blending notecards,
another catalog and the gift certificate. You are always so fast. Thanks for
the two small unmounted stamps. I guess I'm going to have to figure out how
to use these. I've gotten several from other vendors and one from my SS and
don't know about using them. I guess I've got an early New Years Resolution.
Thanks again for the great, fast and friendly service.
