  59. Hello All!
  60.  
  61. Since everyone here has been so good with response to my constant
  62. questions I thought it time for my contributions to the group/list! Hope
  63. someone can use these instructions.
  64.  
  65. You need the following ---
  66.  
  67. Large sheet of white butcher paper (size you choose)
  68. marbles (1 for each color of paint you use)
  69. small dixie cups for paint or (1 cup per color of paint)
  70. Acrylic Paints in color choices (I'll use red and green here)
  71. 1 old spoon for each paint color you choose
  72.  
  73.  
  74. Making the paper ------
  75.  
  76. This can get messy so do outside or over some type of floor covering!
  77. Lay butcher paper on the floor
  78. Put 1 marble in a cup for each color of paint you are using
  79. Poor enough paint into the cup to cover the marble
  80. Spoon the marbles out one at a time and place them on the paper so they
  81. sit still
  82. When all marbles are placed pick up corners of the paper, one at a time
  83. or get a friend to help and each will pick up one end, then move the
  84. paper slightly so marbles roll around on the paper
  85. Dip the marbles back in the paint if needed and repeat rolling them on
  86. the paper till you have the marbled effect you like
  87. Place heavy objects one each corner of the paper while it dries
  88.

  92. this!!!!!  lol

  112. My heat gun is giving out awful fumes when it is on and emitting heat. Do
  113. you think it is broken? Do I need to invest in a new one? Mine is the
  114. Comotion, white, hair dryer, type. I think I have had it for about two
  115. years. Should I call the company?

  117. I have been working on some swaps, so this is not a good time for it to be
  118. broken. :-(

  168. I have one tattoo!!  It is a parrot on the inside of my left ankle.  I was 30
  169. when I got it and it has been 5 years!!!  I have absolutely NO regrets for
  170. getting it!  I did go out and buy one of the washable tattos and wore
  171. different ones all over my body for a couple weeks so I could decide where I
  172. wanted it.  The ankle won!  I chose the inside so that I could enjoy it.  My
  173. mother does tattooing and it looks as though I am getting another one!!!  (
  174. TOO HAPPY ABOUT IT)  but this time i will be wearing stamped art until i
  175. decide where to put the next.  My sister wore a stamped daisy on her toe for
  176. a couple weeks and called yesterday,  she got her big toe done!!!  She loves
  177. it also!!!
  178.      So I don't think you are crazy!!  If it is something you want GO FOR
  179. IT!!!!  My next addition is the posability of piercing my nose....LOL  I am
  180. going to think on this for a while.  I had it done a while back and was
  181. alergic to the metals...but hmmmmm maybe I can try again...LOL

  292. said if they will release it to video yet. Im waiting for this

  294. Once it goes to the theatre again, there will be lots of little
  295. stamp sets available at places like Toys R Us. That's where I got
  296. a lot of my Disney stamps such as 101 Dalmation, Toy Story, etc.
  297. They come out with these small sets with about 10 stamps in them.

  367. It is my understanding that PSX is now somewhat of an angel company, though
  368. I don't know what is and is not included in their policy.  As to the price,
  369. I guess people charge what they feel the market will bear.  I have seen
  370. handmade cards in a local store here in NYC for $8-$10, that are sometimes
  371. not much more than a couple of pieces of interesting paper glued to the
  372. front of the card in seemingly random fashion.  But hey, if someone will
  373. pay it, who am I to say?

  445. Here's another of my faves for gifts -----

  447. Spiced Coffee Mix---
  448.  
  449. 1/2 cup instant coffee granules
  450. 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  451. 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  452. 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  453. 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  454.  
  455. Combine all ingredients, stirring well. Store at room temp in airtight
  456. container
  457. Makes about 3/4 cup or 12 servings
  458.  
  459. Include a recipe card -------
  460.  
  461. Combine 1 tbsp coffee mix and 1 cup boiling water.
  462.  
  463. Enjoy!!!!

  499. Here are a couple of my favorite recipes for Christmas gifts!  They look
  500. wonderful with a stamped card attached or stamped recipe card?
  501.  
  502. Gingerbread Scones
  503.  
  504. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  505. 1 tsp baking powder
  506. 1/4 tsp baking soda
  507. 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  508. 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  509. 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  510. 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  511. 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  512. 1/2 cup currants
  513. 1/3 cup molasses
  514. 3/4 cup whipping cream
  515.     Lemon Butter
  516.  
  517. Combine first 7 ingredients: cut in butter with a pastry blender until
  518. mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in currants. Add molasses and
  519. shipping cream, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.  Turn
  520. dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead lightly 4 or 5
  521. times.
  522.  
  523. Roll dough in 1/2 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface: cut with
  524. a 2 inch biscuit cutter. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  525. Bake at 425 for 8 to 10 min.
  526. Serve with lemon butter
  527.  
  528. Makes about 2 dzn.
  529.  
  530. Lemon Butter ----
  531. 1/4 cup butter or margarine softened
  532. 1/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
  533. 1 tsp grated lemon rind
  534. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  535.  
  536. Combine all ingredients stirring until blended
  537. Makes about 1/4 cup
  538.  
  539. Enjoy!!!!!

  575. I am writing this note to talk to you about a problem--a problem I would like
  576. to clear up BEFORE I issue names and addys for the Christmas Hunt.

  579. unmentioned, at least for the time being, have NOT sent out the package to
  580. your receiver for the 1st scavenger hunt I hosted.  The mail out date for

  1135. The first was a heart flowered wreath on my right hip bone (at age 36).

  1159. one.  I joked that I was saving my left hip and thigh for something   
  1160. really big.  He absolutely went pale!  He's still not sure if I was   
  1161. kidding or not (neither am I come to think of it).  We've agreed that I   
  1162. can't get anything that shows until his parents have both passed on (so   
  1163. as not to speed up the passing).  So I'll probably be getting an ankle   
  1164. tattoo when I'm about 70!  LOL
