I made some cards this week I am very proud of. I took Tria refills and
used the color applicators to make swirls, lines, patterns, etc on glossy
cardstock then I have stamped different things on the paper and cut it
out. I have the coolest sea Shell cards and Southwestern cards I made
yesterday.

Woooow , never knew those rules!!!! I'm sure I learned them sometime
(about 25 years ago, when I was in high school), I just know how to spell
right (grin from ear to ear). I know I dropped French because of all those
rules and exceptions on those rules. Turns out English is just the same
:-(. Dutch has even more rules. And German too, come to think of it. Well,
as long as you can read and write it properly, you don't have to know them
by heart.
I learned to spell theatre like this "theatre", now I've noticed that
everyone spells it "theater" (which happens to be the same as in Dutch).
The Osmonds even have a theatre called "The Osmond Family Theater". Is this
new spelling? They've recently revised all the rules for Dutch. Now the
whole country is confused as how to spell things. It's crazy. Talking about
the Osmonds, coming Sunday there will be a one hours special on BBC tv
(England). I'm lucky enough to be able to get the BBC here, so guess what
I'll be doing Sunday evening, yeaaaahhhhh!!!! Ria

Hopefully it will be okay. I've been compacting the folders ever since I

Just wondering,
This is such a great swap theme, I was wondering if anyone would
also want to swap cards on this theme. You would make your 1 card to
send to Kimberlee for the contest, but if you wanted to swap (as I do)
we could do a 5 for 5 swap with me hosting. I figured as long as I'm making
a card for the contest why not make 5 more to swap. Any takers? Same due
date: Sept. 25th, or maybe later if so expressed? Thanks for reading,

Subject: RS: Newbie Question
Lately I've been doing some embossing, but it seems that as hard as I
try the stuff seems to leave the biggest mess behind. Does anyone have
any suggestions on how to keep it on my cards, and off the desk?
By the way, we're right now in the middle of pear harvest, and I'm
looking for some good pear recipes, every year I vow to actually do
something with these besides drying or canning. SO any suggestions
would be great. (The pickers always seem to leave lots behind in the
trees, and I hate to seem them rot!)
Thank you Thank you!

Subject: RS: Funny Mail Day
Received my Kreate-a-lope order on Wednesday from Geevee the Mooselady;
they're great and I can't wait to use them. Thanks Geevee.
Now for the funny part. She sent the Kreate-a-lopes (I bought two kits so
have four great sizes to go with my other two). in a neat corrugated package.
The bottom of the package was scotch taped together and she included some
great bright metallic red Texas confetti. I haven't seen this confetti before
and loved it. When I opened the package, some confetti fell out into the
recliner I was sitting in and I also put some on the end table next to my
chair. After I looked through the mail, I went back to my rubber room and
started playing with my stamps. When Gary got home from work, he sat down,
looked at the mail and then came back to find me playing. He said *look at
this I have red glitter on my face!* Sure enough, he did and I honestly don't
know where it came from ))). When he turned around to leave I told him the
red glitter matched the red confetti on the seat of his pants. He looked in
the mirrored closet doors and realized he had several pieces of Texas confetti
stuck across his butt.
It may have been one of those times when you just had to be there, but trust
me, it was funny. And he even asked if I wanted to keep the confetti from his
pants. Of course, I did!! He said he only hoped he had gotten that on his
pants since he'd been home and not worn it at the office all day. LOL

There's also this stuff that's available from those companies that supply
coffee makers and coffees, etc, to offices. I know about it because the
coffee pots in the office I used to work on would get to looking
absolutely
horrendous, and they'd bring us this stuff and we'd swish it around in
the
pots and voila, they were clean. In the yellow pages under office
supplies,
with the coffee services I think. Call and see what the stuff is and
where you
can get it.

If you are having a hard time of keeping track of your swaps, and when
they are due, and who to send them to, do what I just did............
It is a great time of year to buy a student organizer...(and they have
really cute ones too! I will be using this for school meetings, and
what not, (I will use red pen for that) All my rubberstamping swaps,
and TTPO-SSS-Mail Art Gallery, and whatever else will be entered in with
blue pen....(and for personal stuff I plan to use either black or
purple.) this is a great way to organize your life, keep it on your
desktop next to your computer, and when you join a swap, enter the info.
I Think this will work, they are portable, so you can take them with you
to the store when you *need* to get swap goodies. I got mine at walmart
for about 13 bucks.....If it works, I am going to have my own organizer
bound next year, to put in, Let me know what you think.

Heather,
Do you emboss over a piece of copy paper, shake excess on paper and then
return to the jar? You could even fold the paper in half first so the
excess will easily fall into the crease--makes a beter funnel.
You could also dump your EP into a sandwich sized plastic container, dipp
your card in the container, and shake off into the container.
I'm new at this too. I learned to shut off the fan while embossing :) It
is not fun trying to sweep it up!
