  58. I missed your original post about your trip but I want to add a motherly tip.
  59.  I didn't catch how old your toddler is but I figure it has to be someone
  60. under 5.  The most valuable thing I have brought on a trip was a stroller.  I
  61. know you can rent them at various places but it is the walking at the
  62. airport, around the hotel, out to eat, to whatever transportation you are
  63. taking, or other attractions that those little feet get tired and there are
  64. no rentals.  You know how heavy a tired toddler can get when you need to
  65. carry them.  I bought an inexpensive umbrella stroller just for our trip to
  66. DisneyWorld.  It was about $20 (that was a few years ago) and it was the best
  67. money I have ever spent.  The umbrella stroller, vs a larger one, is more
  68. portable on buses, trams, etc.  You can bring umbrella strollers on the plane
  69. and put it in the overhead (call your airline first to double check)   If the
  70. stroller doesn't have any kind of basket or bag attached, bring along a tote
  71. bag to hang on the handles to throw all the extras in.  Having a stroller is
  72. also good for a quick snooze (the kid not you).  The umbrella strollers give
  73. them a place to rest their head (where a rental usually doesn't).  Nothing
  74. like a quick nap to get refreshed for more fun.  Good luck.

  89. I just wanted to share with everyone that my baby girl had her first
  90. taste of rice cereal last night.  She did better than her brother did
  91. when we first fed him.  It was soooo cute especially when she spit it
  92. back out at us.  Sigh...I don't want her to grow up!!  I want her to be
  93. my little baby forever!!

  141. Of course you're not too old to have a baby. And you can have health risks
  142. at any age. My younger sister had her 3rd. child when she was 30, that was
  143. 2 years ago and it turned out he has Down's Syndrome, something which is
  144. said is a risk when the mother is over 35. There are always risks, no
  145. matter what age. And all pregnancies are different. It's not to say that
  146. once you had a cecarean you always have one. If you feel up to another
  147. baby, just go for it!!!!! I feel way too old (I'll be 39 on September 1st).
  148. But that's just me. I'm starting to enjoy my freedom with the youngest beng
  149. 8 years old!! :-)

  347.     On Monday night after my ice skating lesson, I was getting ready to skate
  348. off the ice, when BOOM,   I fell.  Silly me, I fractured both bones in my
  349. left wrist (good thing I'm right handed)!!! I'm getting good at one-handed
  350. typing although I think I'm going to adopt Anno's style of no caps!!!!<LOL>
  351.     Anyway, my mom is going to help me with the swaps I'm in. I'm pretty much
  352. ahead & some just need to be sent out. If you DO NOT hear from me, I will
  353. be ok with the swap. I will

  476. Cyndi sent me 3 RAK cards! She was my SS last round and I had sent her
  477. cards in her packages, but had never seen her work. Well, Cyndi does FAB
  478. cards!! I loved them! Two of them are of an outdoor scene. I think the
  479. background was done with a brayer, then stamped with black. Very pretty.
  480. The other card has a splatter background and then a pansy stamped and
  481. crimped mounted on top. Thanks for the SU order forms too.

  499. I have been negligent.  I received a card from my SS a couple of days
  500. ago, and haven't yet sent out a thank you....and then yesterday I
  501. received my SS package (which the card warned me would be coming soon).

  503. SO.....Thank you SS for the beautiful card!  It is a carnation-type
  504. flower watercolored in purple and green with markers on white
  505. paper...the edges touched with gold.  Behind that is a strip of gold
  506. paper, and that is all mounted on purple paper....It is Gorgeous! 
  507. Inside was a packet of enamel....which like the stamp and stick I got
  508. last month, I have no idea how to use (someone help!!)
  509.  
  510. Then I got a TERRIFIC package!!!  I can't believe how wonderful my SS
  511. is!
  512.  
  513. I opened the box, and pulled out tons of tissue paper.  Under the tissue
  514. paper was:

  516. Stamping with Style catalog
  517. All Night Media catalog
  518. Bunny Ballerina Swan Lake iron-on
  519. 2 custom name stamp coupons from Stamp Affair (one for each of my
  520. kids...they will love these!!  For some reason, they are hooked on

  522. a bunch of stickers with cats and angels and bunnies.....
  523. a light bulb ring (which smells Wonderful!  When I opened the box, the
  524. odor flooded out....ummmmm..)
  525. a package of heart shaped notecards with envelopes....
  526. Post-it notes with a farm scene on the bottom edge....
  527. a packet of confetti (bears, butterflies, hearts...and tons of other
  528. shapes)
  529. Envelopes and cardstock and background papers in all sorts of colors...
  530. Beautiful napkins!!  (I didn't have any before...)
  531. Wallpaper...
  532. Cardstock with perforated hearts and bows....
  533. Patterns for envelopes and boxes...
  534. Paper with jelly beans printed on...(No, Stampercat, they are for me!!)
  535. a black Pad Magic dye ink pad...
  536. A package of what appears to be embossing powder...(gold with glitter)
  537. a piece of cork to stamp on (where did you get this??  I can't find it
  538. here and would LOVE to get more....)
  539. a Hook, Lines and Inkers stamp of a girl kneeling in flowers...
  540. a small UM of pumpkins...
  541. a large UM of irises..
  542. a HUGE Stampendous stamp of an angel with a dove (my first angel!!  I
  543. have been wanting one, but couldn't decide which to get!!!  This one is
  544. PERFECT!!)
  545. and....a Southwestern theme card.....pottery and a teepee stamped on a
  546. handmade-type paper....torn out and glued onto a beige marbled-looking
  547. paper with a faint cave drawing horse stamped all over it....and mounted
  548. again on tan paper.....WOW!!

  565. to all of you who wrote such wonderful notes of encouragement!  I have
  566. been sitting here reading them all, crying and laughing at the same
  567. time.  You guys are the best!
  568. DH woke me up at 3:30 am when he went to work - I had fallen asleep
  569. reading a book (my best cure for insomnia) - he knew I had been upset
  570. last night, and told me not to worry, that if we are meant to have
  571. another child, God will give us another - and to just think of all the
  572. fun we will have trying!  <VBG>  And then, at 6:30 am my little girl
  573. crawled into bed with me and snuggled up, saying "it's time for Barney,
  574. Mom"!  And I knew right then and there - if I'm blessed enough to have
  575. another, it will be wonderful - if not, then it wasn't meant to be.
