  79. Well the doctor said I could go to my mom's cabin and be on bed rest there
  80. when we came home I was exhausted from the travel.  Monday I had a little
  81. bit of bleeding and we have freaked out!!  I went to the doctor's who said
  82. things were fine but with our history of losing babies we have been extra
  83. careful and I have not gotten out of bed.  When we got home Saturday there
  84. were all kinds of cards and payments in the mail.  Thanks so much!!  
  85.  
  86. We got the coolest card from Tammy A.  She sent us a card that she had made
  87. with our stamps.  This was way too cool!!  She put a border around it with
  88. cow spots then layered some paper and did the moochas grassious with the
  89. cow in the grass.  It was sooooo cool.  I am not describing it as well as I
  90. would like as Mark took it to scan to put up on our page so look for it
  91. there.

  93. Also Barbara Simpson sent us a really neat card.  I am not sure how she did
  94. the back ground, I would like to know, I think maybe with different colored
  95. inks and used a brayer?  Then she stamped these two cats that are cut, Then
  96. she stamped the same cats and cut them out and did a 3-D look that is about
  97. 1/4" off the other cats, really cool effect.

  102. This list has been so sweet, I am sorry I don't write much these days, I am
  103. not suppose to sit up much so I only do it occasionally, 4 more months and
  104. I will be able to at least do it between naps.:)

  129. Yes there is a crazed male stamper in my home.  Mark does more stamping
  130. than me these days.  When we went to my mom's cabin he stamped the whole
  131. time, the sad thing is I don't have the energy to do it these days so he
  132. stamps by himself.

  198. I am sorry for not posting earlier, my doctor gave me the OK to go stay at
  199. my mom's cabin.  I thought the change of scenery would be great but it was
  200. kinda boring.  I had to stay on bedrest while everyone went on the 4
  201. wheelers and swimming.:(  Oh well next year I will hopefully have a
  202. bouncing baby I can take swimming.  Then on Monday, I had some bleeding
  203. that freaked me out and the doctor said it looked ok but I have not gotten
  204. out of bed so I haven't done my e-mail.
  205.  
  206. A flat is a sheet of rubber about 4 1/2 X 6 1/2 that has different images
  207. you can cut out.  We generally have about 8-12 images on a sheet depending
  208. on how big the images are.  Most have about 10.  We have not sold the foam
  209. yet however are in the makings of doing so.  We personally have been sold
  210. on HALOS and so that is what we have suggested, no we don't sell it, we
  211. just have been impressed.  If you would only like it with foam let us know
  212. as we are planning to get some in the near future and we could put you on
  213. our list of people who are waiting.

  331. you use HALOS you don't need foam or backing for mounting (hint hint :)

  519. Someone on the list suggested using Post-it Notes on the back of pins to
  520. cut down on bumps on the back (which I tried).  It worked really well if
  521. I left them sitting on their piles of pennies, but I usually picked them
  522. up to pour the Envirotex on (or to get it to all the corners, etc..). 
  523. That left me (in a few cases) with bits of Post-it Note firmly embedded
  524. in an Envirotex bump <G>!
  525.  
  526. The idea in Somerset was to use Frisket on the back and then pull it off
  527. after.  I wonder if rubber cement would work?

  907. we also have access to the list -- it *exists* for communication,
  908. information .....

  910. I've had top-notch, courteous, efficient service from the vendors I've

  912. business practices or bad scruples should be able to ride along on the coat
  913. tails of those vendors who do a great job.

  1194. Try this:
  1195.  
  1196. Stamp your image and emboss. I like to use Fabrico pads because they give such 
  1197. a great sharp impression. 
  1198.  
  1199. Then carefully paint in the image only where you want to color with Perfect 
  1200. Paper Adhesive. Use a small brush and stay within the image so that you don't 
  1201. discolor the rest of your paper. Although the Perfect Paper dries clear it 
  1202. will give your paper a sheen since it is a sizing. 
  1203.  
  1204. Before continuing make sure the area you painted in with Perfect Paper is dry. 
  1205. You can use a heat gun.
  1206.  
  1207. Next use Marvys, Tombos or Tria markers to color in your image. My personal 
  1208. favorites are the Trias for this technique but the others work fine too.
  1209.  
  1210. Then end result is a beautiful  stained glass like effect, I impressed myself! 
  1211. ( I don't brag much so I thought I'd throw that in!).
