  51. The following has been thoroughly tested and approved by June Bug and Milo:
  52.  
  53. Liver cookies:
  54. I container chicken livers (approx 1 lb). 
  55. 2 eggs
  56. 1C flour (any type)
  57. 1C Parmesean cheese
  58. 1C cornmeal OR oatmeal OR whole wheat flour OR Seasoned bread crumbs.
  59. Lots of garlic powder and seasoning to "taste"
  60. (I put in enough garlic, onion and herbs so it doesn't smell like liver while
  61. it's cooking.)
  62.  
  63. Liquefy chicken livers in a blender.
  64. Pour into a bowl, add other ingredients and mix well.
  65. Pour onto cookie sheet (with sides) that has been THOROUGHLY sprayed with
  66. non-stick coating.
  67. Bake at 350 for 25-30 min. Cool for 30 min
  68. Cut into appropriate sizes squares.
  69. I freeze immediately and take out as needed. These work well for training
  70. because they're firm, not sticky or greasy and aren't too gross in your mouth
  71. due to the cheese and garlic. Plus, it's inexpensive to make, no chemicals or
  72. preservatives and no salt!
  73. For a thicker cookie, pour into a 9x13 baking dish, I prefer the thinner
  74. type.

  91. As my original intention was as sarcasm towards the original post from
  92. someone who chooses to call people names, I will now tell you what I
  93. think this list is full of:

  95.     1.  Over 500 people.
  96.     2.  People who want to learn, not just about stamping, but about
  97.     the folks they stamp with.
  98.     3.  Of which, I would say the majority are caring and sharing
  99.             individuals.
  100.     4.  People who have problems at times and look towards
  101.     others for help and assistance.
  102.     5.  Because of number three above, they very often get it.
  103.  
  104. Now if this is being an "idiot" as stated, then I am proud to be one of
  105. them!

  362. wanted even before I did.  I confirmed my email order with her on Monday
  363. afternoon and they were in my mailbox when I got home yesterday (Wed.).
  364. Baggie lives in Washington and I live in Texas.  How did they arrive so
  365. quickly?  Thank you, thank you Baggie for the incredible service.  These
  366. stamps are the most adorable things I've seen.  If you haven't seen them yet,

  396. similar, but easier to use and not as harmful. If your craft

  565. I have a question regaurding your book swap.  It didn't appear in the 
  566. master list (or I missed it).  Was it 4 for 4?  Is it to be blank pages?  
  567. Does it have to use a rubber stamp?  I made my first 4 books this 
  568. weekend, but I have quotes on the pages done by my computer, and the 
  569. covers are decorated with wallpaper and there is no RSing on it, except 
  570. my sig at the back.  If it would still qualify I'd like to sign up for

  852. My directory came today...what fun!  Oh, by the way Tracy, I've never in my
  853. life felt so far down on someone's love list, you ol' meanie.  *G*

  855. My little analytical mind geared up and the first thing I did was see where
  856. I fall alphabetically.  I'm right smack dab in the middle of Evo and Jerry
  857. Hall.  Well, I don't know Jerry very well but she looks so sweet, like
  858. someone's Grandma.  I'm glad I'm sitting beside her because on the other
  859. side is Evo who flaunts her cardstock in public like some brazen hussy.
  860.  
  861. I've seen another stampers directory that was done a while back, but this
  862. one is completely different.  I like the colors.  Some people hand stamped
  863. their pages and added color and others copied their page on colored or
  864. decorative paper, some even made color copies.  My page is very simple and
  865. basic, but now that I have some ideas, I want to completely re-do it.  I
  866. can't wait for the first directory update so I can make a new page.  I like
  867. the fact that the pages were left loose so we could choose our own binding
  868. method.  Mine are in sheet protectors in a 3-ring binder so it's easy to
  869. add new pages.  And the sheet protectors are nice because you know how we
  870. sometimes rub each other wrong ;)
  871.  
  872. I haven't read the whole thing yet, but a few pages caught my eye.  Lee
  873. Crete's page makes me feel completely inadequate...it's so artistic.  Holly
  874. Mabutas has a wonderfully colorful page.  Geevee has her whole family there
  875. and more moose than should be allowed by law.  Sandy Lemons didn't get all
  876. her hair in the picture, thank God, or we'd have to have a 2-volume set.
  877. Jhone Messinger-Dickson looks just like I thought she would-she just oozes
  878. elegance.  I'll tell you a secret about Jhone.  Did you know she signs her
  879. checks in CALLIGRAPHY??  Can you imagine standing behind her in line at the
  880. grocery store when you have 4 screaming kids and $200 worth of melting ice
  881. cream and she's hand lettering "J-h-o-n-e M-e-s-s-i-n-g-e-r ---
  882. D-i-c-k-s-o-n??!!!  Okay, so I'm just jealous.  I'd do that too if I could.  
  883.  
  884. And where's the beef??  I can't find the men's pages!!  Did I overlook
  885. them?  Were there no male participants??  I would think this could be a
  886. real big ego booster.  Imagine getting together with your buddies and they
  887. open their tiny black books to try to impress you and you whip out your
  888. enormous binder complete with pictures (and page protectors for safe
  889. stamping, ya know).  Of course, you wouldn't want to do that in front of
  890. the wife.
  891.

  893. hard work you did.

  1226. Hi Kari and everyone!  I decided to put this on the list so everyone can
  1227. read it!  
  1228. THe pattern book is from the swap that was done last summer and it is
  1229. full of patterns for envys, boxes, etc.  Here are just a few from the
  1230. Table of COntents:  Shaker Card, Window Card, Basket Box, The Sliding
  1231. Pop Up, Pyramid Box, Turning Circle, Origami(several), Pentagonal Envy,
  1232. Small Gift Bag, Shirt Pattern, ROund Paper Lantern Card, Flip-up Card,
  1233. SLide Card, Hiddent Messege Card, Magic Color Card, GLue Stick Magnets,
  1234. Windowbox Card, Wood Cube Puzzle and on and on and on!!!!  That's only a
  1235. few!  There are 137 pages and every other page is a pattern and the
  1236. other page is instructions.  NOW, Judy's part was a list of Tips,
  1237. Techniques, and Ideas from the Mailing List;  things like Stamping Tool
  1238. for making Background Textures, Neat Stamping Acceossories That are
  1239. Cheap and Free, Matchbood Favor, Sticker Glue, Homemade Blender,
  1240. Metallic Rub, Stamping WIth Bleach, Trees, Making Envys, Recycling with
  1241. Tissue Paper, Wallpaper, Baby Wipes, Cello Ribbon, Cheese Cloth, Match
  1242. Book Card and lots and lots more!!! Plus, I have a whole bunches to add!
  1243. More Tips and Techniques and more patterns; for Pillow Boxes, How To's
  1244. for cards from Stamp Cabana(not just the ordinary), some from
  1245. Stampington & Co. and a few scrapbooking pages.  There are so many ideas
  1246. and patterns here!  I always find I overlooked something every time I
  1247. take mine out and look at it!  Be prepared to go out and buy plastic
  1248. sleeves to put them in a notebook!  They're fantastic!!!!  Hope that
  1249. explains it better!
