"IMUPSET" SAY'S ** If you can't treat the wonderful vendors who offer
such great discounts on rubberstamp products on this list with the same
respect and patience that you would a company that you order clothing,
household products, magazines ect. from. Than what kind of person are
you?
Where else can you get deals like these? Show some appreciation."

Key words here are "the wonderful vendors". Seems to me the conversation
was about who are less than wonderful. Appreciation and respect are
given where they are deserved.
And I don't think you can speak for all vendors in such a blanket
statement to say what each one's reasons are for being in business.

the Bad hair Day Swap and didnt send you any in return. I did swap them
as I do with ALL swaps I have hostessed and I sent yours out with
everyone elses. I even emailed you a private email this morning and
offered to send you some of my swap cards from the swap, if they didnt
arrive today. I had asked you in the email to let me know if you still
hadnt received them in todays mail. I never got a reply from you so I
didnt know you didnt received them today until just now when I I see this
public post from you about how you "are pissed."
I dont blame you for being upset about your mail situation. But its not
my fault the cards havent goten there yet. I offered to send you the
cards that were mine to keep from the swap....What else do you want me to
do? I have never had any complaints or problems with any of the swaps I
have hosted and I personally dont feel I should be blamed for the PO's
mistakes and be labeled as "One of those hostesses!" I believe you can
ask anyone who has been in one of my swaps and they will tell you they
got their cards like they were supposed to. If you chose not to be in
anymore swaps because of this, then that is your choice. I dont want you
teo feel that way but if you do then there's nothing I can do to change
it I suppose.
I will be mailing you ALL the extra hostess cards I have from the Bad
Hair swap....Hopefully this will make you feel better and compensate you
for what you sent and the price of the clear envys you enclosed yours in.
I'm even willign to remiburse you ten clear envys if thats what it takes
to keep you fromr publicly flaming me for somethign I had no control
over. I dont know if that how you meant it to come across ar not, but
thats the way it sounded to me. I fell very upset and hurt that you would
post that publicly, like Its MY fault your cards havent arrived yet.
If people think I am a bad swap hostess because of this then I guess
maybe I shouldnt host any swaps anymore. All I know is I feel this is
was very unfair. ANd yes, I know I probably shouldn't post mine pubilcly
just because you did.....But, like you, I need to "vent," also..ANd I
don't want people thinking I am a bad swap hostess just because your
cards havent gotten there. Again, I CANT control what happens in the mail
system!
I'm sorry if you are MIGHTY pissed about your mail situation and the bad
experiences you have had.....Im sure in many cases you have a right to
be. But please dont judge me as being like the others, after I have
even offered you all my cards to make up for the PO's mistake.
I have to say, that after you have posted that publicly about my swap and
have, in my opinion, "smeared" my name on the list, I. too, am Mighty
PISSED! ANd I have every right to be!
I will be mailing you all my extra cards and your clear envys. tomorrow.
I hope all your venting and the cards and envys I send will make you feel
better.
If you all want to flame me, then go for it! I dont care! But I am not
going to sit here and let my name be smeared in the mud for something I
didnt have any control over....ANd not say my piece.
And if any of you who are in my VLVS swap and naughty swap that are
coming up and feel you need to drop thanks to Valobra's opinion, please
be kind enough to let me know. I only hope none of you will let her
influence your opinion.
And, since I am sure I'm going to be flamed over this.....Go for it!
Flame away! I'm ready for it if you feel you have toblast me! ANt
Judy...I might need a heavy duty fire extinguisher for this one! LOL!

What a lovely post... LOL the fact that these are my sentiments, of course,

Seriously, thanks for a great post!

Whew! Is there a full moon or is it PMS season? Sheesh. Seems like
everyone's in a bad mood today. I think we need a new topic to discuss.
I'm a bargain shopper. I love garage sales, I navigate towards the
clearance racks, and so I'd love to hear some of the ways to save money
with stamping supplies. I just read a Newbie Tips post from luv2stamp
about buying blank index cards at WalMart for postcards. I love that
idea, and I'm going to go buy some next time I'm there. Anyone else
have any ideas they'd like to share?

From: LynneLynn@aol.com
Subject: RS: Sacto Convention: Thanks So much!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, it has been a few days and I am finally "caught up" from being at the
Sacramento Convention all day Saturday.
I spent the day at Stampo's booth. Viva Las Vegas Stamps. Stampo's
neighbor BOB came up to set things up and work the Convention. It was great!
I got to visit with some really great people! Besides the generally
wonderful people that Rubberstampers are I got to meet several list members
too!
Early in the day Tama Clark and Michelle (NapaMich) came by and some one
else too I think?????????? Could have been Pam (nevada stamper). I'm so
sorry if I have frogotten.... It was such a busy day!
Tama came by later and stayed for a while. We got to visit a little bit but
it was pretty busy. Because of her I was able to get lunch and so was Bob.
Thanks so much Tama! It was so good to meet you.
And at the end of the day Pam came by and helped and I got to visit with her
a little more than I did with Tamma because it was slower when she was there.
Michelle came by too and we let her off the hook..... <VBG> We were at a
"managble point" when she came by so she was able to go off and enjoy the
convention some more.
During my lunch break I was able to "make the rounds" and find some paper for
myself. Beautiful white and gold and a white with tiny gold threads to go
with for making Christmas cards. I can see them now and hope they work out.
It was really great to meet everyone who stopped by and I am so sorry if I
left anyone out. As I said, it was a very busy day .... I hope you
understand....
O!!!!! I also got 3 pins at the end of the day. These ladys were so
generous. They just gave me their pins even though I didn't have any to
trade.
I have decided that I will trade pins from now on. And I think I have the
perfect stamp to start with!
I am so excited that I will be going to the San Rafael (sp) Con and might be
able to help there too. If not then we will all have to meet at the VLVS
booth at lunch time or something.
Thanks so much for all your help and support. Thanks to all who stopped in
and those who offered to help and didn't get the chance......
I can't wait to do it all again!!!!!!!
(Crazy ain't I?)
Take care all,
Sharyl

funny i have recieved over 10 email of encouragements and only one from
Janet who seem to think i should not post on the list..
I am sorry but I believe I did the right thing. People should know who to
steer clear from. I also got email from three different people who have
NOT yet gotten thier tea for two swap and one of them also send 12 cards
like I did.
As for the custom stamp I supposedly ordered from you. I have e-mailed
you just recently asking for price and address so I can mail the check to
you although I must admit I dont remember ordering anything from you.
