Subject: RS: I HATE to do this....BUT>>>>>.
I have to face the bitter truth....I need to UNSUB. I know most of you
don't even know for sure who I am...but, I really like this list, though I
have been on it only a short while. I have two weeks to pack my
apartment up, and get my "new" old house in order so that we can at least
move in. For those that don't know, we bought an extreme fixer-upper, and
we have taken the challenge! We are very excited...but there will be
lots of dirty, hard work in the next week or two just to get a few rooms
ready to live in(there are 10 rooms and then some in all!).
I have been packing up alot of my "toys"...and the stamping stuff is next
on the list so I figured I better go ahead and sign off.
Don't know for sure when I will be back on....we have to get phone lines
run, the whole bit.........but, knowing my hubby's feelings about HIS
computer(we have two), he will get our house wired for 'puters even before
hot water! So, hopefully, this will only be for three weeks orso.
I am staying in the 4th of July swap, and the Directory Pages.........
No status on the tombstone in my yard.........she's not going anywhere
unless I find out where it really belongs.
Thanks also for all the helpful hints about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
If anyone wants to help christen my new mail box, I'd love to hear from
you. I made up about 30 RAK's last night...embellishments, some
stamped.......so, watch YOUR mailboxes!
I am going to miss my 300 or more emails a day, but duty calls!
My email and snail mail is below if anybody needs to reply.
See ya!

LOLOLOLOL.... that reminds me of a story.......
A friend of a friend took her 80 year old mom to the gynecologist for an
annual check up.... Anyway, the daughter had to stop by her apt., and when
she did, her mom decided to go in the bathroom and freshen up.
She took her mom to the doc, and when she picked her mom up, her mom was
FURIOUS. Seems that, after being placed in the quite undignified stirrup
position, when the doc came in, and began the examination he made the comment,
"MY! Aren't WE fancy today!!!!"
Well, Mom thought that was MOST unprofessional. The daughter asked her if she
had done anything different, and she said NO. She said she did, while at the
daughter's apt., after using the potty, used the feminine deodorant spray she
had found under the sink.....
The daughter didn't have the heart to tell her it wasn't feminine deodorant
spray..... it was purple glitter hairspray left over from Halloween.....
LOLOLOLOLOLOL....

a boy soon after that, so he got a doll. One of those My Buddy jobs.
He played w/it some when little, but not alot. He did carry "Baby John"
around that my sis gave him for 1st bday(little stuffed bear) so i am
hoping that enough rubbed off to help him someday!

yeah.. and since the gal one is perkin' up and not so shy, splitting them up
is more of an option than you felt it was in the beginning.. animals don't

metal....try using cloth straps or "strings" in place of snaps, zippers, etc.
Even buttons can show up and make it look like she has a "coin shaped lesion"

uh oh....newbie mistake...*LOL*. Thanks for letting me know! I didn't know
that it would hurt my stamps. Ok, I need to go to Wal-Mart to get more
medicine (been sick for a week now..*sigh*) so I'll get some glycerine too. At
least playing with my new stamps helps. :)
Thanks again,

I know I've seen better hospital gowns on the market than those flimsy paper
ones. I'll do a web search. Someone else look too, 'cause my browser's old &
cranky. :)
BTW, don't you think the back should be fastened with HALOS hook & loop?

Amen to that! My 5th grade son (11 yrs) still prefers baseballs, Legos and
yes, even Beanie Babies to playing with girls and it doesn't bother me in the
least. I have seen some of his classmates who are more physically mature than
my almost 15 yr. old son and am so happy it's not something I have to deal

invented by a man indeed!!!
Endure the discomfort girls.

You think the mammogram is bad - chemo is horrible!!!
Thanking whoever invented that machine - I'll never miss my appointments!!

and we can find it amusing in an historical context without diluting in the
least our sympathy and empathy for him and what he and his family are going
through *now*. may be in bad taste, but then.. most jokes are.. in one way
or another..
by the same token, we may be able to be excused for finding a moment of
amusement in a joke that plays on an ethnic or racial stereotype, while at
the same time disapproving of the prejudice or the stereotype itself.. yes?
not because we believe it, or condone it, but because we're aware of it, and
looked at from that angle, it is amusing.
