Ellen, you're absolutely magnificent!!!!! DH went to the PO today and came
back home with several pkgs. He kept asking if he could open one so I
said, "Ok,,,you open up the big box (an awesome Milwaukee Heat Gun)
and I'll open up this magical smaller package!!! *You know the saying big
things come in small packages...it's true!!!* I ran in and placed them in
there own spot on my stamping table - they now RULE the table. These are
betta than tomato 'sammiches' (as Anno would say...just love that!)
Before these arrived...I couldn't even draw a straight line with a ruler!!!
Ok, so watch your mail next Friday or Saturday there should be somethin
special calling to you!!!
I've gotta go now because I hear them calling to me!
Love you Evo! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Linda, thank you for such an adorable card!
On white cs there's a cutout of pink and white teapot (I think it's made of
fancy designer paper) and a postoid of a teapot and cup that says "cup of
kindness". Tucked in at the top of my teapot is a sealed teabag!
On the inside is a computer printed poem (in beautiful script), "I can't
come to visit you, The way I'd like to do, So have yourself a cup of tea,
And think a thought of me.
Linda also include two swatches of really nice wp with an invitation to
join in the wp swap! Great idea Linda! Feels like a personalized
invitation :>)
RAK's are wonderful!!!!! Linda, thanks for considering me as a lucky
recipient for one from you!
Take care and stamp with a light heart!

Subject: RS: RE:Daycare Baloney, the sequel
Well, I took the kids to a baby-sitter I use, and the Mom finally showed
up now. It is 5:30 central time. I verbally assaulted her immediately
and let her know what I thought of her as a mother. I also gave her 1
week notice to find another daycare (this is short notice, but I
consider her contract null and void!). I know that what she did was
neglectful to her children. I also called my county supervisor/licensor
and reported the situation to her. The really bad thing is that these
kids are wonderful kids. I could never, ever leave my kids for that
long, especially without calling! I am very proud of myself, though. I
didn't shout, swear or resort to name calling, although I wanted to! By
the way, she offered me $50. I said You owe me $200 more! She paid me
in full before she left the house! Oh well, I am worth more than she
thinks.

it!)

Subject: RS: Fairfield show today
Hello all
Well, I said I was not going to anymore shows until San Jose next month. I
woke up this morning and decided I better head to Fairfield.
It was kind of a dissapointing show...small, same ol' vendors, and VERY heat
in the rubber rooms.
I only bought 4 stamps...yes, I have learned to practice self-control.
I did get to see Nancy (MagiStmpr) and Barbara and George. Barbara committed
the BEST faux pas I have ever witnessed..ROFLMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!
What should have been a 1 1/2 hr trip home ending up taking over 3 hours. We
stopped in Stockton, about 30 miles from home, to check out a stamp store..I
was there about 20 minutes. Then I tried to tell my dh how to get back to the
fwy....but would he listen??? NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! So we ended up driving around
in Stockton for the next hour and 15 minutes...and Stockton is NOT an area you
want to get lost in. We ended up in a gang infested area..and he just kept on
going. Finally we made it back to the fwy..WHEW!!!
So...no more shows until San Jose..next month!! LOL

Subject: RS: Swap received....
Received my Springtime Flower Swap while fellow stamper Nancy Green was
visiting and we both just oohhed and ahhed over all my cards. Thank you
Lisa for hosting this beautiful swap and for the ums. Very sweet of you!
Tammy Dunsmore - the coolest card - a pinwheel all sponged pretty grass
green on the outside with a cute gardner with watering can on the inside and
flowers stamped on all the flaps. I'm definately going to try this card
very soon.
Niva Klavin - a very elegant card on gray cs. We were admiring the corner
embossed embellishment and the pretty bluebonnets (Texas state flower) ont
he front. We are still trying to decide how you did that - is it vellum,
water color, crystal laquer? Beautiful composition.
Pam Macvittie - this is the sweetest card - I was accused of trying to take
it apart to see all the components that went into it - of course I would
never disassemble a card but I did look real close (gg). First she brayered
her cs in green then layered a garden tool shed, complete with stepping
stones and flowers on the front. Then she "popped" a sunflower straw hat
and flower seeds off the front - great dimension and really pulled it all
together. I love this card.
Patti Murphy - landscaped a cute scene on white cs with clouds and
butterflys of tp and two little girls with flower leis in their hair picking
flowers in the meadow. Too cute.
Melissa Klement - what a statement this card makes. on black cs she
layered a backgroud of envelopes filled with flowers - all black and white.
Then in the center one envelope on glossy white cs with the flowers colored
in and popped out - just seems to be floating in the batch. Reminds me of
ttpo (gg).
Thank you to all for the great inspiration and I am, as always, in awe of
the talent and kindness out there.

Subject: RS: Giggles is getting me into trouble
Hi All,
I've been RAK'd by the wild and wonderful Giggles but she's getting me
into big trouble. She sent a great Suzy card with Suzy sitting in a
chair that was embossed and colored in but......she sent more fudge
(gone) and now DH is telling me I have to get the recipe and he'll
figure out a way for me to make it even if he has to attach a seat to
the stove for me to sit on.
Thanks Giggles I'm thrilled and so is DH!

Subject: RS: My PO is ROTFL
Hi Everyone,
Well I've been rak'd and my po is giggling themself silly. My DH was
asked what kind of people I know and he kinda shrugged his shoulders and
told them weird but wonderful too! He also told them to be prepared to
mail funny stuff too. I am the talk of De Funiak.
I received a *note just one flip flop for the right foot. It has TAZ on
it one of my favorites I might say too. Now I'm not sure of who sent
this but it says Stampata or could be Stampeta@juno.com.
PO wants to know what I'm going to do with only one flip flop shoe. Dh
had an answer for that. Told them well they may have sent the wrong
foot or maybe not seeing that with the injury to her right knee she has
the devil of a time with any shoe.
>From there he went to the store and his school buddy "owner" said hey
Russ I hear Dot's been getting some weird mail. DH just said well you
know Dot!
Thanks for this RAK but how do I join the TTPO? I gotta find out for
sure.
