Help! I received via email another one of those gif files and can't
retrieve it!
I go into file manager and can see the file - I double click on it and it says:
Cardfile - the selected file is not in the correct format for use with
Cardfile. Create a new file or open a file with the .CRD extension.
When I click on OK, it brings up the cardfile - what do I do from there?
If anyone has time to respond to me privately, I would love to find out how
to do this. THis happens quite often and I get so frustrated - I am not
very computer literate, so I need some help.

Hi Ginny
I've been lurking for a couple of weeks (posting to individuals rather
than the list...cuz I just realized how to post to both!!!), and I, for
one, would LOVE an actual rubberstamping project of the week post...I'm
eager to learn what's out there, and what others are doing, so you have
my full support!
Go for it!!!

Hi All,
For those of you who have the new Nasco catalogs, go get it. . . I'll
wait.
Got it? Lokk on page 34 at the big yellow brush called So Big Brush by
Crayola. These sell for $1.75 a piece and they make grat stippling
brushes like those sold by Toybox Rubber Stamps. And cheaper, too!
The difference is the ones from Toybox come in different sizes and cost
up to $4.00 each.
I got mine today and have been playing all morning with them. I bought 5
and now want more. one for every color ink pad I have!!
Just thought I'd pass this along!

Hi all,
I received a few catalogs over the weekend.
Alice in Rubberland
Like a lot of the images in this BUT they are very strict on copyright so
that kind of irked me. i don't sell any of my art but just the way the
said it! But theere are lots of goodies in there I like.
Penguin Stamps
I love this company, ordered the catalog on a whim. LOTS of funny witty
word sayings and neat postage stamp borders. Also a Angel Company!!!
Happy Rubber Stamps
This catalog from our very own Ginny is really nice not too much my style
but so well put together.

P.S. My dad is having open heart bypass surgery as you read this. He was

If anyone has any they still want to email in then please go ahead - the
more the better!!
I have to tell you guys the funniest one my sister told me when I told
her what I was doing. She recently recieved from an old friend (and big
time jokester) a beautiful card. On the outside it read
"I'ld like to see you pretty soon"
and on the inside it read:
"cause you've been ugly for so long!"
I laughed and laughed.

Thanks for your comments. However, my point was child safety. So people
need to think before they act. I guess some people just think it's more

Hi All,
I too am taking a break from the list. It takes me about 2 hours a day
to go through all the messages and I need that time to do other things.
I have all my swap information printed out and will get them out in
time. I can still be reached at russ@sunco.com at any time. It is
much easier to just communicate with certain people on this list in
private without having to dig through a few hundred messages to get to
theirs.

Thanks for the suggestion Ginny! I am going to call Nasco and order their
catalog now. :) One question, do you really need one for each color or do
you think we could get away with one for blues and greens, one for reds...
like that? I am just wondering how much of the previous color affects the
current color. thanks!
Nasco's catalog is free and can be ordered by calling 1-800-558-9595.

I went to the Paper Pleasures store this morning..and I was impressed.
So many wonderful handmade, imported and exotic papers of all types.
You can buy them by the sheet, any where from 2.50 up to 15.00,
depending of course on the type of paper. Many accessories, pens, inks,
ribbon, raffia, hand made bound books, papers by the sheet, envelopes by
the piece, cards, many hand made products from here in Colorado. The
owner was so nice and helpful..classes are forming, I left my name for
a Japanese booking binding class. She also has sealing waxes, initial
seals and well..just so much more I cannot describe it. One block west
of the Happy Stamper on Columbine, across from the Cherry Creek North
post office. This store is a treasure-I came away with lots of things
and spent under 15.00.
If you need more info plz e-me....or check out the Sunday spotlight
section in Sundays' Rocky Mt. News.
