Subject: RS: Re:tan Mail sure cheers the heart
I have had an great week of getting mail and boy does it make an difference=
in my day . I cant beleive how its the greatest to get mail . My wants=
have become simple just send me mail.Oh course its gotta be stamping=
related. Well I got my second set of stamps from Barbara at creative=
Images,. You barely talk about it and boy they are at your box. I do think=
she must hand deleiver all her packages. I also got an great package for=
Sue Beck at wacky wagons ladybug I ordered beedz and music modules for=
greeting cards . I am teaching an class in it this month . Iam so shocked=
at how fast she was . It was her in days . I sent her an e-mail tues and=
its here in two days. WOW you deleiver also or is the postal service=
getting quicker. I also got my March package from my sss. SHe always=
sends me the greatest packages. But of course Iam not going to tell you=
all the best kept secret for I dont want anybody to take her from me. I=
had asked her how she does her unmounteds since I had just went over to=
the halos system. ANyway she told me about using an zippered notebook for=
baseball cards. Well she sent me the whole set up to get started and=
organized. I cant believe it. I am so thrilled . I have already started=
the organizing process . Its great ! My sss packed the notebook so full of=
stuff . I got so much its unreal . I got tons of ribbons all in easter=
eggs. I got coffee which I had to hide for my family . I clear envelopes ,=
pansy napkins, background papers, water bubbles from stamp affair I sure=
needed that I have been looking for one. oval template with an nice=
scallop edge to it .she also made an wallpaper envy and put some texas=
postoids and cowboy boots in it . Its so cute. I also got three paper=
paints from tulip paints in nice spring colors . I cant wait to try them.=
There was so much goodies in the package that if I list all of it this=
would go on for another complete page. So now dont get any ideas of trying=
to steal her from me for it wont work . SHe is mine for another three=
months and boy am I gonna have fun. Renee

Subject: RS: Gold and White Swap posting
Ohhh, this was one of the prettiest swaps!!! Just the fact that it's the
two striking colors of bright gold on white would make it lovely, but then
add the great art of
Debbie Turkington, who did a card and an envelope, both with scalloped
edges. The card is embossed with gold and a bundle of tied flowers is also
embossed on it...reminded me of a lovely wedding invitation :)
Pam Macvittie stamped sheet music and embossed with gold, then added cut
out embossed notes...fancy cut corners and a verse inside complete this
masterpiece!
Shel Smith used a rose in an embossed frame with corner photo holders...all
in gold filigree. Topped this off with a beautiful twist of gold meshed
ribbon...most worth of ooos and aaahs!
Sent anonymously...but providing a fantastic idea!!! is a note card with
squares and rectangles dry embossed..inside of each of these blocks is a
stamped and gold embossed item such as hearts, butterflies, and a filigreed
easter egg! I want to try this!
Another card and envelope set from Lori Croswell...oh my! The card is
white cardstock, with a layer of maybe watered silk or moire (wallpaper?)
covering the entire front. On top of that she has gold embossed and cut
out a floral arrangement of large roses and rose buds, complete with baby's
breath. A delicate gold bow is on the top left corner, and a banner "With
all my love" is across the right corner. Just gorgeous!!
Thanks to all of you!
Linda

Subject: RS: What time is it in Taiwan?
Hi yall,
My Dh is in Taiwan. He flew there yesterday and this
is really kind of funny... so bear with me... He left
Iowa at 7:00 am on the 20th of March. His Birthday is
the 21st. Because of the time difference he loses
almost a day. He was supposed to arrive at about 7:30pm
on the 21st in Taiwan. (I think that is 6:30 am my time.)
So not only did he lose a day... but he lost his birth-
day.... poor guy:(
Anyway... I haven't heard anything from him yet and am
just wondering if anyone knows the time difference from
CST (Iowa) and Taiwan. TIA

Listen to this, everybody!! All I ordered from Ingrid was two stamps and
two little inkpads -- and she also sent me this adorable pin she made ...
of a bunny holding a colored egg, attached (by 'O' rings) to a "Happy

innerds delightfully. Thank you from deep within my heart!
For newbies: This is Ingrid Yadao and her 'e' addy is up above in the "To"

NOTE to Ingrid: Did you get my check yet? I mailed it on Tues. 3/17. Let me

Ok--let's just say I went to my first class in this today and was pleased with
the results. SO--I went straight to the store (JoAnn's) and bought stuff
because it was 25% off. ANYWAY, my questions are: Who else does this along
with RSing? Can you recommend a GOOD mailing list for scrapbooking info and
possibly page layout swaps? How about good sites/vendors to get supplies from
at a discount? Also--anyone know specifics about a scrapbooking store in
Oakbrook, IL? That's all for now. Thanks! Mona
