Thank you so much for the beautiful and thoughtful Rak. I love how you
did the card with the collage of textured hearts. I've realized that I
love the smell of vinyl wallpaper.
It reminds me of how the books in my grade school library smelled. Isn't
that odd? But its a very pleasant fragrance memory.
Thank you again for thinking of me. The wallpaper samples have a good
home here. <G>

YES glue is good for a number of uses as long as you remember it's
not *archival*. Most of the time this won't matter, but if you are
creating something for posterity (scrap book, artist's book, etc.)
you'll want to use something else. Also, it's definitely not
recommended for use with photographs.
Have fun gluing!

Those gorgeous Rubber Poet stamps were already mounted on HALOS, yeah! I

And she also sent me a baggie full of cut up paper for making paper pulp
for making paper. I have never made paper this way yet because I have to
cut up the paper. (I'd rather be stamping, lol), So this paper you
already sent is in the pot I have just for this purpose! I can't WAIT to
get at it. I've got my paper making from pulp paper directions out and
ready to go. But first, I just had to make me a box or two. It's more
difficult than I thought it'd be, but after 3 tries, I finally got the
hang of it and the right size box I needed. My SSS is gonna get all her
gifts wrapped in boxes! heeee! :)
Thanks for spoiling me so much, you're too good to me, that's for sure!

There is a specific RAK list.
The snail mail list also serves as a source for rak'n.
I strongly suspect that RAK's are *also* performed using the CCCC list
and will be performed using the Angel Flight list, although the CCCC and
AF lists were not initiated for this purpose.
Remember that the only dumb questions are those unasked. (Dictionary
humour: "dumb" = "silent") If you're wondering, there are probably more
wondering who are too shy to ask.
Welcome to the circus.

Subject: RS: THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE RAK EVER!!!!
This is so unbelievable! Moostamp had written me and asked me if I had seen
the peddler's pack moose. I said no I would love to see them. WELL, I
never expected to recieve in the mail 5 BIG MOOSE RUBBER STAMPS!!!!
These are the greatest, there is one moose holding an easter bunny and
basket with eggs hanging from her antlers, a beach moose holding a inner
tube and towel wearing sunglasses, a halloween moose - need I say more?, a
valentine moose holding a giant heart with heart garland all around her
antlers. And then there is of course my favorite, the angelmoose, with
wings and halo. Oh my goodness. This is too unbelievable.
Kathie, you are unbelievalbe. When I asked you what you wanted in trade for
these you said nothing, just to enjoy the moose. I never expected this, in
my wildest dreams. Unbelievable!!!! I don't know what else to say,
unbelievable. I love them, they are great, you are the sweetest, and thank
you so very, very, very much. Unbelievable!

Subject: RS:Soup, Salad & Sandwich cookbook, Please Read
Since several of us already have our stuff done, and can't seem to find
Nancy, would you like to still do this? I don't mind hosting it, just
don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I work in a library and have
access to a binding machine so I could have the pages bound. If you are
interested in this let me know and if there's enough interest, we'll go
with this. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
For those who didn't know what the original agreement was, it was
something similar to this:
Type your soup, salad or sandwich recipe (you can send in as many as you
want, just please put each section on different pieces of paper. I will
make divider pages for these three categories) on 8 1/2 x 11 paper,
stamp it and sent it along with $3 and a SAML.
Due date April 20??
Thanks,
Misti

From: Linda Strawn <straken@ida.net>
Subject: RS: Kaleidascope try this too
Hi Maralee and all, you can also make an interesting effect by using
this technique and using torn paper, we did a demo where you use 2
postcard size of white cardstock the same exact size, tear one about 1/4
of the card lay the larger peiece down over the 2nd postcard and brayer
over the whole card with a sponge brayer, this will leave the larger
portion of your postcard still white, remove your mask (the larger
peice) and lay your smaller piece down matching your torn edges.
Now follow the directions below that Maralee has given you, the torn
edge adds alot of variation to your card, you can stamp something on it
or just leave plain.
