Subject: RS: COMM:Biblical Impressions& others
Hello all
As some of you already know, I have been working on starting my own business
for several months. Wellllll...I am now "official"!!! My business will be
home-based for the time being...but I hope to eventually move into a store
front.
My business name is Te' Okita Stamps & Supplies..."Te' Okita" means "silver"
in the Yaqui language..and my buddy ol' pal Shawn (Rubrwoman) helped me decide
on the name.
The companies that I will be carrying are Biblical Impressions, Toomuchfun
Rubberstamps, Print Kraft, Dreamweaver Stencils, Craft Stamps, Good Stamps
Stamp Goods, CA Paper Goods, and a few others to follow.
I will be placing an order with Biblical Impressions this Friday, March 20th.
I will be offering a 25% discount off retail pricing. Biblical Impression
offers UM's also!! If you do not have a catty, you can check out their images
at "www.biblical.com".
If you are interested in any of the companies I have listed, or if you would
like the pricing info for Biblical Impressions, please email me privately.
Jaimee :)

My DH is just amazed at the amount of mail I get since joining this list.
He had to dig this one out of the very back of the mailbox, not sure how
long its been there....
Thanks to Helene from Hawaii for the wonderful card with a
coordinated wallpaper envy. Very pretty and I love the little shell
stamps, remind me of snorkeling on Maui. Thanks so much.

Subject: Re: RS: TAN Collections besides stamps and such
My other collections are Christmas Villages from Dept. 56, Coca Cola, and The
discontinued Fitz and Floyd Holiday Hamlet. Also books, books, books (mostly
craft, cookbooks, mysteries and science fiction). An inadvertent collection is
computer software. (I never met a graphics software I didn't like).
I suppose I shouldn't count the software, because software support is one of the
things I do for a living.

Subject: RS: RAK! Sandy Lane
Hi Sandy!
Thank you for the lovely RAK that you sent to me! It is really cute!
It came on the perfect day too! I really appreciated it!
The RAK was wonderful. It has a "sewing" theme. On light marble
cardstock, Sandy did a sampler type card that had sewing sayings and
buttons and a pin cushion. In the right hand corner is a sewing machine
that stands out (mounted with 3-d cushion I think!). It is colored very
nicely and it say "SEW SPECIAL!"
Thanks for the wonderful card Sandy. You are truly kind!
:)

Subject: RS: Thanks Ant Judy!
I received a lovely card today from Ant Judy. Since
we both had left overs from the directory exchange we
decided to trade ours. along with the exchange of
directory pages, I ws lucky enough to receive a card
from Ant Judy. It is a homey stamp.... a big cabin
type dwelling with lots of flowers surrounding it and
a hay roof... she used colored pencils and mounted it
on wallpaper (she did not use a wall paper envy though)
and then mounted that onto green cardstock. A very
comfy card Thanks! And I also enjoyed reading your
directory page. I especially enjoyed the last comment
on the page! LOL! Ps... hope that you get mine soon....

Anno-I agree completely.
In fact, I LOVE to trade pins with kids at conventions. First of all, they
are the next generation of stampers. Secondly, their creativity is so
kewl....always inspirational. Third of all, I just plain think its nifty
that kids would make pins, go to conventions, and want to trade. Any
kids listening? Find me in Albuquerque, Denver, or Marlborough and I'll
joyously trade with ya'

Subject: Re: RS: same swap-floral
Even though I'm frequently late in my "reads", I really love to do this.
First of all, it is good for me to study the cards closely... I learn so
much that way. SEcondly, EVERYONE grows best with praise and there is
always so much that is praiseworthy about anybody's cards....
So, in general, I really enjoy posting to the list about the neat stuff
people have sent in swaps, raks, etc. And I just hate it when time runs
away with me and I can't do this as much or as well as I'd like.
Thanks for your kind words, Dawn....
Hugs,

Subject: RS: Re: RubberTown: What Do You Collect Besides Stamps . . .
Hi Sara,
I collect Cola Cola items and I'm not talking just the little stuff
either. Currently, I have two favorite items in my collection. I have a
pop machine that dates back to around 1960 or there abouts, when coke was
20 cents a bottle. It has one glass door on the side and holds 6 oz
bottles of pop. I also have a metal chest with a bottle opener on it, it
has a lid that is held down by a handle. I have quite a few other coke
things as well. I have many of the printed glasses, and one antique mug
set. I also have stuffed bears, ornaments, tins, magnets, etc. etc. I
love them ALL!!! My collection has grown from the generosity of my
friends, who have given me many of the items for Christmas or Birthday
presents.
