Oh dear...this is serious!!! I suggest that you find a locksmith and
have them get your car open for you and then have an extra set of car
keys made keep in your purse or in the engine compartment of your car.
As for your hubby taking the extra set of keys with him to Bosnia;
that's a big no-no. Is he planning to drive the car in Bosnia? Whenver
my husband or I travel we leave our keys at home for the other. Its a
security thing for the other person and it definitely lightens one's
load. Hope your week gets better and that you find your car keys. Hang
in there, gal!!!
Hugs to you and the kids,
Libby

Amos was written in Judah about 800 years before Christ.
The book of Amos is paraphrased by Stephen at Acts 7:42 and 43,
and quoted by James at Acts 15:15-18. Amos was one of the
prophets referred to at 2 Kings 17:13, 22 and 23.
Amos warned Israel for its luxurious living and oppression of
the poor.

Subject: RS: I think I'm going to cry...RAK descriptions
Hi everyone,
I just returned from a two week trip and was totally overwhelmed by all the
wonderful RAK's I rec'd while I was gone. This morning I spent about an hour
carefully describing them all to you then...poof! I hit the wrong button and
the whole thing disappeared! That's why I want to cry! But thanks to
everyone who sent me a RAK...I will briefly list them here but not in the
detail I used previously then deleted like a cyber-moron! Guess the list was
too long for a posting anyway!
So, here goes....
I got some great cards from the following individuals.
Martie Sempels, the Belgian stamper...a beautiful rose layered onto a sheet of
music.
Linda Israel....a Leprechan jumping for joy surrounded by embossed gold coins
and doodads, nice handmade wallpaper envy too!
Susan Benedict, aka Coffeestamper...a clear envy (my first! what a neat
thing!) with layered card using sheet music and a rose (embossed on plastic??)
on a plain black background. Bet the USPS loved seeing this one! Gotta find
some clear envys now that I've seen 'em!
Beth Dutt from Pierre, SD...my first vellum, how beautiful! A spring flower
design of iris in a stained glass looking frame. White embossed and colored
with markers from the other side. Just spectacular! Thanks, Beth! I tried
to e-mail you privately but it bounced back somehow.
From Stampin' Nuts in Kingston, IL...a layered card of a flower arrangement in
a vase which looks like it's on foil with some kind of laminated surface. The
colors are so vibrant...how did you do this on foil??? Thanks! Loved your
cyberstamper stamp on the envy!
Sherry Webster, Alberta, Canada...a dry embossed sunflower in muted earth
tones. So pretty! It was in a handmade wallpaper envy accompanied by a candy
rose on a stick...yummy! Thanks, Sherry!
Dorothy Ferris from DeFurniak Springs, FL...the most beautiful dogwood bloom
I've ever seen! Gold embossed and colored in pink (with markers?), reminds me
of the tree my grandmother had in her front yard when I was a kid. Just
lovely! Liked your "hello from Florida" stamp too!
Gloria Alexander ...a neat gardening theme with a straw hat (either embossed
or some kind of special glitter) layered over names of flowers and gardening
gloves to match on the inside. Thanks!
Thanks to all who RAK'ed me...I've kept your addresses and will start working
on return RAKs this week! What an incredible feeling to see the amount of
effort put into all these beautiful cards just for me...and you don't even
know me! Thanks, again! Jan Hoyt

Subject: RS: belated RAK acknowledgement Debbie Miller
I while back, I received a very nice pick-me-up RAK from Debbie Miller. I
love it because it is so simple, yet so attractive and well made. I need
to make more cards like this, instead of getting caught up in cluttering my
cards with things they don't really need.
On Navy blue confetti cs (love this stuff..must get more!) small deckle cut
square, she has gold embossed a great sun, smiling with elaborate rays and
gold embossed the edges of the square; this is layered onto the same navy
confetti cs. She then gold embossed one of my favorite sayings (how did
you know!) "Cherish Yesterday Dream Tomorrow Live Like Crazy Today" I
remember seeing this stamp in an old SU catalog, and didn't get it then.
Now I wish I had. Have to find it. Thank you for the nice note, Debbie.
It made my day, way back then and now.
Hugs
Rosemary

From: Sheryl Porter <sporter@utah-inter.net>
Subject: RS: A miracle
I witnessed a miracle yesterday--my ll year old daughter was actually
stamping with her 14 year old sister. Normally these two do not get along.
The younger one, Ashley, is totally in awe of the things her older sister
creates and laments that she wasn't born with any artistic talent--and
Melissa usually relishes in that knowledge. Saturday was different. They
worked "together" from morning until night.
Stamping and crafting supplies are in abundant supply at our house, and
Melissa can turn a two liter pop bottle into a rocket ship complete with
compartments and accessories for a school project over a weekend. She also
sculpts amazing little animal figures out of clay that amaze everyone who
sees them. She's been working on a hand stitched nativity set for Grandma
for several Christmas's now, and just this weekend I found the right fabric
for her to make the animals. She has never shown much interest in stamping
anything but pins.
Trading pins has become a real tradition with stampers and these little
works of art are fun to create, but very time consuming. Usually, I've made
the pins, and Ashley traded them as she fluttered around the conventions in
her HALOS angel costume. It's a lot of work getting ready for these shows.
She usually starts the pins, and I end up finishing them. I finally
convinced her she needed to make her own this time. Here's where the
miracle came in. Melissa likes to make pins, but is reluctant to ask people
to trade, so she made a deal with her little sis. If she helped Ashley with
her pins (and she didn't have to do very much at all), Ashley would trade
both of their pins at the convention. They had a wonderful time and I'm in
awe of the pins they made without any help at all from Mom. Ashley stamped
a mask on some cool leather like fabric --the same stuff Melissa is going to
use on her nativity animals. She embellished it with feathers, and Liquid
Applique. She layered them on several backgrounds and they are wonderful.
She wants to make a lot of different kinds, but I'm discouraging that in the
interest of time.
On the other hand, Melissa is making a variety of pins. She stamped a cart
that her daddy drew and filled it with tiny chilli peppers that she
meticulously colored and cut out and put in one by one. She also made a lot
of other pins that she's labored over for at least 20 hours. Be sure to ask
them to trade with you if you're coming to Carson. I guarantee you'll like
them.
