The reservations for the grab bags have been coming in fast and
furiously.  We are ready to ship as soon as payment is received.

As a reminder, we have three mounted bags of 10 for $15.00.

Thanks to the generosity of a number of list vendors along with the
equally generous contribution of list members and others, we will have a
number of these grab bags available once again.

There are at least 20 UM's per bag, in various sizes. Some are slightly
used, but most are new.   The cost is $10.00 per bag, plus $3.00 for
priority shipping (can send at least three bags in one envelope).
Canadian orders, please add $1.00 additional.  All other countries please
email us for shipping charges.

Once again, the proceeds of this sale go to pounding down the medical
bills for Giggles.  After all, she keeps paying, but the doctors and
hospitals keep billing her for what we hope will be her final round of

Why were we told that there were approx. 100 players, and that we should
send 100 copies ... mine cost me 25 cents each ... and I'm not on an
unlimited income either.    I would like to have known that 50 would have
been sufficient ... and if you weren't planning to return the extras ...
*why* were the players told to send 100?

And - yes - I would like to have my extra pages back.     I already sent
you $5 for this ... and it only cost $3.42 for you to send the ones you did
... the $5 would have covered it if you had returned my extras with the
ones from the other stampers.

If $3.42 was the cost to mail these, and all 50 +/- participants sent you
$5.00 each ... you should have had about $79.00 left over.

No, I did not write to you privately.  This matter involves 50 +/- list
stampers, and this discussion is surely as important to the participants
and any futher (directory page) players as anything else I've seen on here.

Thanks for the update on the directory pages.  I *wondered* what happened
to the extra **54** pages that I sent ... and which cost me an extra $13.50
to photocopy.   Send more postage to get them back?  I should think Jessica
 would have money left over from what I sent for postage already....

With photocopying and postage these directory pages have cost me in excess
of $30 ... never again - it would have been worth it, if there had been 100
players as we were advised at the beginning.  And then, the swap out was
delayed because of late arrivals ... did 50+ never arrive at all??  That's
over half....

Jessica ...  would you be kind enough to advise me if you will send back my
extra pages.... if they are to be sent out to newbies, I'd like to that
myself ... as they are *my* pages.

I am pleased that those who sent directory pages, really put a lot into
them ...every one is different, and reflective of the tastes and talents of
their owner.

them.

Ellen,

I remembered something someone told me while I was reading your response to
Paula Jo.  It has meant a lot to me over the years and I thought I'd pass it
on to the list.

I was in a NOAA managers course and the instructor, who was a psychologist,
was talking about how to respond to others and to ourselves when someone
really angers us or even hurts our feelings.  He said: "Anytime we let
anyone really get to us, make us angry or hurt our feelings, we are in fact
giving them control of ourselves."  He continued with: " I don't know about
you all, but I don't believe that any of those SOBs are worthy to take
control of my life, my feelings, my attitude ..."  Those were golden words
to me and have helped me a lot -- I just refuse to let anybody make me that
angry.
