Well...I have had a big diapointment with someone on the list already, and I
don't want it to happen again! (I will even say who...Christiane Britton)
So, hopefully I won't join a swap with a person who can't be depended on to
fulfill their obligations. I don't know about some people, but if I were to
screw up a swap and not send back stuff, I would be embarrased to show my
e-mail self again on the list. I certainly wouldn't have the nerve to try
to host another swap! Now if something happens in a persons life that they
can't finish a swap or fulfill their SS obligations, that's understandable.
All they usually have to do is let everyone know and get someone else to
finish up for them. We're understanding of lifes ups and downs, but to just
blow it off like its not important makes me mad. Especially when I work
hard on my cards and pay my postage and send money for return postage and
never get anything.
Maybe if someone tries to host a swap and they didn't come through on one
before and didn't try to make it good....someone should just post to the
list what happened and then let people decide then if they want to take a
chance on it.

Ive got Mary Jo in May! I cant decide what to get her to teach as her list
is sooo long! She did circle her new and hot classes. So anyone whos
ever taken classes let me know which one you loved. Anyone who want to sign
up email me or call 206/481-2340. She should be here Thur. before Puyallup
Convention, think its the 16th(?). We are still working out the final
details such as which classes, price, time, day, etc. But for the most part
Im guessing on or around the 16th, one of her new classes, afternoon maybe
evening, around $20.00. Is that specific enough? Will let everyone know
more as we start to gell. Thanks Cheryl

Hi, would someone plaese explain something to me? I can
understand being ticked off about getting headers and blank messages,
*but* what is wrong with not getting a message that *you* wrote to the
list?? To me it just saves space and time in downloading. I don't need
to get somethink I wrote. You can always send a test message to see if
your massages are going out. From the volume on the list I can't see
that too many posts are not going out. I'm not getting my own posts but
I'm getting responses to the ones I send. I'm happy. Well I'm reslly
ticked at Netcom, but that is another story....

Some of the best friends I have I've never met.
All of you give me a warm fuzzy feeling every time I'm "on" the

I actually see this as a triumph of our legal system.
OJ was found "not guilty" of murder, because there remained doubts, at
least in some of the jurors' minds.
OJ was found "liable" for the deaths of Goldman and Brown, because a
preponderance of the evidence shows he did it.
There's a difference, this isn't double jeopardy or anything close. This
is, in my head anyway, as close to justice as we'll see in this case. I
wouldn't have felt it was right for him to be convicted in the criminal
trial, =I= had some doubts. But it feels right for him to be held civilly
liable.

Joanne - to delete a whole bunch of messages
hold down the command key (if a MAC the one with
the apple on it) and click on the note, still holding
your clicker & command key down highlight all the
notes you want to delete in a row - add single ones
interspersed throughout the download by holding the
command key down and clicking on them - when you
have the whole bunch you want to be rid of hit delete.
If you accidentally double click (hand slips) READ the
default will kick in and every note you highlighted will
open giving you mucho note windows open (oops). But
other than that the "mass delete" is easy and saves
tons of time.

LOL!!!!!!!! Hilarious, and oh so true! The irony of this case just makes
me realize what a joke the American judicial system is. Yes, he has to pay
big fines, but so what. He's still free, alive and able to enjoy life and
his kids, unlike the victims. Pity.
