they exist ... under "license" from Disney, which is fine for home use
only.
I've seen 'em at Fabricland and at Toys-R-Us.

From: Betty Goetz <Betty.Goetz@noaa.gov>
Subject: RS:how to get best service from vendors
I probably don't have the 'right' yet to say much about being a vendor....I've
only been at it for less than 2 months, but I've learned a lot and thought I'd
share. There are several things that folks can do to help me give you the best
service. I'd sure like to encourage other vendors to jump in with suggestions,
as I buy stuff and want to be a 'good' customer as well as a 'good' vendor.
1. Please enclose a summary of your order with your check....especially if we
haven't had any e-mail correspondance about your order. That way I don't have to
look up old e-mails....I can just decorate an envelope, grab your gratis card
and the rubber you want and seal things up.
2. Please include your e-mail address with your check as well. I like to let you
know when I've received your check and e-mail makes this easy. If you have 4-5
e-mail addresses, let me know which one to use...as I will just assume that your
first post to me is 'your' e-mail address. This is the one that goes in my
'records' (but this is easily changed).
3. Enclosing a SAML is GREAT!!!! That way I don't have to try to read your
writing....which is most often fine, but sometimes tricky <G>. I do cross-check
with the address on your check, but this sometimes isn't where you want the
order to go.
4. At least for Haika Rubber Stamps you can assume that the order gets in the
mail on the next mail day (not Sundays or Holidays <G>) unless I inform you
otherwise. I try to e-mail you this information as well, but I usually do that
in the acknowledgement post I send when I receive your check. This is where
e-mail really helps me communicate with my customers.
Any thoughts....additions....helpful hints????

Actually, you are right. Priority mail is First Class mail for small =
packages. That is, anything over 10 ounces is sent by Priority rather =
than First Class. The Priority Mail system is optimized for these =
packages. Frankly, ordinary envelopes are not the best pieces to put =
into such a stream.
There are, I believe, two central hubs for all Priority Mail in the =
country. One is in Indiana. I don't remember where the other is. =
Everything gets sent there and then back out again. This is the postal =
service equivalent of Atlanta International. Try to fly into the =
southeastern United States without passing through Atlanta!
Priority Mail measures up very well against its competition: UPS. It =
costs a bit more than UPS ground for larger packages (but quite a lot =
less for smaller!) yet the service can be much, much faster. Priority =
Mail from here (Washington State) to Connecticut, for example, is two =
days. UPS Ground is 7 days.

Hi Stampers,
Just got my ordre from Barbara Zachrel - barbara@kans.com

she promised. Barb mentioned she was a new vendor on the list and so I
thought I would take a chance. This was a very good experience.

From: FranRShaw@aol.com
Subject: RS: AD: getting Petal Paper again! :-)
Hi Everyone!
I will be making another trip to Portland on Saturday, March 7th. That means
I can get more petal paper for those of you who missed out last time (or if
you want more!) <g>
WHAT IS IT? This is 9 pt. cardstock and matching text weight paper with REAL
flower petals. The base color of the cardstock/paper is a soft white, and the
dried flower petals are mostly pinks, blues, and mauves.
There are 2 types... each available in cardstock weight AND text weight. Both
are smooth finish (no bumps) so you can stamp, or write on them with ease.
#1 - "Lots of Petals" - this one has lots of tiny petals throughout, the
petals are more broken up, and denser...
#2 - "Sparce Petals" - this one has fewer petals, and they are more spread
out.... not such a heavy feeling..., but the petals are bigger and more
colorful.
HOW MUCH IS IT?
"Lots of Petals" in CARDSTOCK WEIGHT - 10 sheets/$7.50
"Lots of Petals" in TEXT WEIGHT paper - 10 sheets/$3.50
"Sparce Petals" in CARDSTOCK WEIGHT - 10 sheets/$7.50
"Sparce Petals" in TEXT WEIGHT paper - 10 sheets/$3.50
BONUS - Order 1 package of each and receive 10 sheets of Royal Fiber
Periwinkle, which compliments the colors in the petals so well!! **FREE!!!!
:-)
US Shipping: $3 for up to 100 sheets
Foreign shipping: Please ask
WHEN WILL I SHIP? I will be shipping these on Monday March 9th. I would like
most of the monies to be here before I go pick these up (these are quite
pricey, so I will only be buying what I have orders for.)
Please e-mail me to reserve yours and I will send confirmation. Send check or
MO to Fran Robertshaw, 2682 Beverly Dr., Medford, OR 97504.
Thank you!
