*Some* of us are going to San Mateo, CA (Feb.28-Mar.1) which is in the
southern portion of the San Francisco Bay area.
I've dared the CCCC folk to wear cat ears ... if they'll promise to,
I'll wear my bunny ears ... just for "recognition".
Sometimes it nice to write/pester the e-mailable vendors before, asking
what they're planning on bringing "Just so I can plan on getting at the
convention" and to ask if they're *also* having in-store specials the
week before or after.

Feathers,
Probably. Stamp companies don't always have the copyright to the
design. In some cases the copyright stays with the artist with the
agreement that they will not sell the design to another rubber stamp company
or any rubber stamp related business.

Just recently I met President Clinton when he came through Hickam AFB in=20
Hawaii...but Hillary and Chelsea were there too!!! =DC Honest!
While I was in High School, I met Scott Baio (Chachi on Happy Days)
and Lief Garrett (Can't remember the shows he was on, but he did have a=20
*singing* career and was in all the teen "hunk" magazines.)
While stationed overseas with my husband (Okinawa, Japan) I worked with=20
the USO shows and met Kris Kristopherson and his wife (she was=20
pregnant), Michael Young (Use to MC for Disney Channel), and Billy Swan=20
(had some songs in the 70s). The funny thing was that Michael Young=20
started out in my hometown and had his own cable show for teens called=20
"Columbus Goes Bananas". I would get tickets to his show all the time=20
and had pictures of him and his crew. I took my pictures in for him to=20
see and he was sooo excited showing Kris and Billy his "first show".
Also met Cheap Trick (the whole band), Pablo Cruz, and Kansas after a=20
USO show.
That's it (I think)

When they go out of business, the assests are usually sold
and one of the big assets are the copyrights on the images.
So you who have to find out who now owns the copyrights.

Subject: RS: Valentines Swap received!
When I got home from my trip, many packages were waiting for me, including
my Valentines Swap box! Sorry I've taken so long to post. So new stuff to
play with, so little time!
When I opened the box, mini snickers bars and Reese's PB cups fell out like
confetti. Then I found more stuffed into an acrylic heart ornament!
Chocolate heaven! Also some nice heart-themed unmounteds (to go with my
new HALOS system!), and a mounted heart balloon stamp. We used that one
for the kiddoes' classmate valentines. Also 2 Kaleidacolor rainbow pads
(Calypso and Berry Blaze). I've been needing these for so long. Two linen
postcards with a nice lace border stamped onto them. Tons of great
wallpaper for envy's and backgrounds. A little baggie of red embossing
foil. (This is new to me, and so much fun...one more thing to add to my
list of things I *need*!) Another little baggie with confetti, and loose
confetti in the package. (Sam, my oldest, collected all of the loose
confetti and saved it for me. What a guy :) ). Also, a really nice
valentine card. Pink CS is folded in thirds. The overlapping parts are
deco cut at an angle so that they no longer overlap (neat idea). A stamped
and colored rose is attached to the card over the flap, like a seal. there
are 2 diagonal lines of rainbow foil layered onto 2 diag strips of deco cut
lavender CS (hard to describe but very clever). Script "Happy Valentines
Day" is stamped onto the same lavender CS, and glued on the inside of the
card. Red hearts are stamped on the corners, inside and outside of the
card. I really like the whole concept of this card! There was so much
stuffed into this great package! I hope I didn't miss anything. Thank you
for everything. I love it all!

The Old RAK List Keeper received a neat Valentine RAK from Christine Morrison.
Pink cs layered with white stamped and embossed in gold is a double heart with
ribbons and roses. A pink bow tied on the side and stamped inside is Happy
Valentine's Day. This was mailed in a handmade envy from tissue paper ironed
onto freezer wrap. (One of my favorites).

Subject: Re: RS: Production quotas on cards?
I do my best work by mass producing cards, I work for hrs to perfect 1
card then I make a bunch for swaps, penpals, & local card swaps that
way when I need a card
I have one for use. I find that if you make a bunch you for example
color the pink on all of them, go to the next color & so forth, but I
love repeative motion.Luckily since I do Hair & do you have anu idea
of how many perm rods you can put in one women's head. I've done hair
for about 29 yrs , so it's a good thing I like it.
Plus I like the swaps cause it gives me a chance to try new products
,I've probably bought yrs. before & never used. LOL!! Sandy Lane

That last part saved you, anno, I nearly tossed the whole thing in the
trash! I think I've got it, it's the official Beads, but not beedz,
stamped beads are okay but don't make beads unless you have to but not
beedz because that interferes with my vision Swap.
