  64. Does anyone have this kind of a printer?    I've had mine for about a year
  65. and a half, and everything was fine until a month or so ago.

  67. When I print off e-mail messages, they're fine.   However, when I print
  68. anything I've done in Word Perfect, it's a mess ... looks like there's a
  69. streak of ink through each printed line.   I called the store where I
  70. bought it, and they want me to bring it in for a "check-up" ... (sure ...
  71. at $75/hour - they'd love to check it).  I don't think it's a printer
  72. problem because it doesn't do this when I print list messages.   If it's an
  73. adjustment or a setting thing ... does anyone know what I'd adjust or set?
  74.  
  75. I'm not using a color cartridge .. just a B&W one, and yes, it is the
  76. "real" HP cartridge, not a clone and not a refilled one.  And yes, I've
  77. done the cleaning thing.

  123. You could use the Altoid boxes to store small dies that are mounted on
  124. HALOS loop.  You can use sticker paper to cover the top of the box and
  125. list which tiny dies are inside.  I am converting all my tiny stamps over
  126. to HALOS and those small boxes are perfect.  YOu could have only
  127. Christmas in one box and other holidays in others.  Or only small animals
  128. in one and You could even store a small block of wood with the HALOS loop
  129. on it in the box, so all you need is in the one box.  A color cube would
  130. fit as well.  In fact, you could make one up to hold a small die cube,
  131. some dies and the wood block, then carry it in your purse or on vacation
  132. to embellish those boring postcards everyone buys.

  258. First I would spray paint them using a matte finish Krylon paint.  Then 
  259. you can stamp them.  I would then seal them with a clear coat spray.

  261. You can label them somehow also and use them to store charms, beads, 
  262. stickers, replacement blades for the Fiskars Paper cutters,
  263. send small unmounted stamps in them to your SSS, store postage stamps or 
  264. whatever.

  332.     Received my hook and loop from Evolving Images... now to get busy and
  333. mount the rubber dies I've been accumulating! I'm so glad I heard about
  334. Halos on this List! I used to wood mount all my unmounteds. I'd have to
  335. wait till DH had the time to cut the blocks to size, then together we'd
  336. sand them. DH even had to get a new sander - for my benefit, you
  337. understand - since I complained his old one was too loud. (I don't
  338. recall it as being a twist-his-arm kind of thing though.) <g> Then I'd
  339. mount the dies on doublestick foam, stamp the wood block, then mount the
  340. die to the wood.
  341.     The Halos are so much easier that the first time I used them - I
  342. couldn't believe after just mounting the dies on the loop tape... I was
  343. done and ready to stamp! Seemed like there should be another step or two
  344. before I could actually use my stamp since I was used to so many steps!

  549. use strapping tape or double stick foam tape-- they've worked for me in

  936. Oops, almost forgot! I received these great cards in the mail yesterday.
  937. The following are the cards that I received: 
  938. Vivian Thiele: White cs, with a layer of mauve corragated paper. On top
  939. of that is "Happy Birthday" embossed in blue and then colored in with
  940. chalks ( i think) Love those colors. On the inside stamped in red and
  941. embossed: Thinking of you on this Special Day! Very nice card!
  942. Diana Craig: On a light green cs is a layer of white/green marble like
  943. paper. Which is cut out with fancy scissors. Stamped in the middle is a
  944. heart embossed with gold ep. Inside the heart are two pink roses.  Above
  945. the heart is "Happy Birthday". On the inside is "Wishing you the very
  946. best of Birthdays".  Very pretty card!
  947. Michelle: On white cs is the three old ladies stamp.. with "blah, blah,
  948. blah, blah..." stamped on the front. The ladies are all colored in. On
  949. the inside is written: Just gossiping about you age. Happy Birthday! I
  950. need that stamp(SS if your out there). 
  951. Michelle Oakley: On a eggshell cs is stamped a terra cotta pot with
  952. sunflowers. These are very nicely colored in. Stamped on the inside is
  953. "Happy Birthday". What stamp is on the front of the card??
  954. Michelle Billett: On a light tan textured cs is a layer of white cs cut
  955. out with fancy scissors. On this is a wonderful  stamped embossed
  956. birthday cake. With a checkered border. Plus the words Happy Birthday

  980. stamps from the Metropolitan Museum of Art (grey rubber) that I mounted onto
  981. the loop tape, and the rubber slides off the tape. I don't have this problem
  982. with any other rubber that I've used, only the stamps from the Museum. Why
  983. are they sliding off the tape? Do you have any suggestions for an adhesive I
  984. can use to keep them on the tape? I'm frustrated because I love these stamps
  985. and it's very difficult to use them if they don't stay adhered to the tape!

  1185. I got rak'd by Robyn Lawrence and received in time for Valentine's Day. 
  1186. She used a cute friendship warms the heart stamp with teapots and
  1187. cups(embossed in purple ep) . on glossy cs.  The background paper is
  1188. stamped with a another cute background stamp.  And then  it all goes on red
  1189. cardstock.  Beautiful card and made my valentine's day extra special.
