We were trying to get Jacob's funeral set up before he was born, a really
horrible thing to do before you even have your child.  Anyway, the
funeral home we worked with seemed so caring, and told us they would take
care of everything and just charge us for cost.  The price we were quoted
was $150, including the little tiny casket.  Well, about a couple of
weeks or so after his death, we got a bill for $450!  The last thing
someone wants to deal with, or worry about is money, but sheesh we are
talking $300 more than what we were quoted!  Mark called, but they would
only knock $100 off, so we paid $200 more than they told us.  THey lied.
I think that is really cruddy to take advantage of people at such a time
when they are weakest.

Rcvd. the long awaited swap.

1. Cheryl Simmers; Black background paper. Then a  sage colored
cardstock, corner punched with a family treasures rounder layered on
that. Next is a smaller piece of black cardstock that was put through the
corrugator. The top layer is a black ink stamped, brightly colored
Sunflower.

2. No name; Heavy white paper with blue and violet speckles is the base
for this. Then there is a piece of black cardstock that has rounded
corners and has 4 gold embossed butterflies with blue metallic painted
wings.

3. Lisa Marie; Pink parchment cardstock base. A black paper punched heart
glued in the upper right and left hand corners.
About a 1 1/4 inch square of black cardstock with ' I Love You' embossed
in pink is centered above a 1 1/2 x 5 inch piece of black cardstock that
has 3 pink hearts embossed on it.

4. Carole Mork; Black cardstock base.  red mulberry paper that has been
embossed with a black rose and layered on the cardstock. A rectangle of
red paper cut with decorative scissors that says Happy 40th Birthday.

5. Linda A.; White cardstock base with deckle edge.  Black and white
checkerboard paper layered on top. About a 2 1/2 inch square of black
corrugated cardstock with a  1 1/2 inch piece of white cardstock stamped
with a framed checerboard on top of it. On the top is a cute black
stamped cow with pink cheeks and a wreath of flowers around its neck.

6. Lisa Mallette; Mauve linen cardstock outlined in green. A purple piece
of tissue torn and layered under a tall black piece of cardstock that is
embossed with a white rose. The black paper is deckled and outlined with
a metallic purple and the rose has a touch of the purple metalic with
green metallic leaves.

7. Darlene Ave-Lallemant; Black cardstock base that has the upper 2
corners rounded and the lower 2 corners of the card- front  punched with
a decorative family treasures lace corner rounder. On the inside-back of
the card a white strip of paper is glued to set off the fancy lace
corners on the front. There is a piece of bold black and white striped
wallpaper layered on the front of the card with a red lilly stamped and
layered on top of that.

8. Lisa Wynn; white  cardstock that is edged with 'stamp' decorative
scissors and stamped with postoids. Attached to black textured cardstock
base with black photo corners. In a Clear envelope.

9. Sherri S.; Stardust cardstock base. Black paper ribbon with wine
corrugated cardstock strip down the middle.  silver bow and 2 Denami Iris
embossed with an ep that kind of looks silvery with stardust in it ? and
then the iris are colored with markers in a wine/burgundy combination.

10. Trisha Hamilton; Glossy black paper base. Zebra striped paper
rectangle layer with a black stamped zebra cut out and mounted with foam.
In the upper left corner are crinkled strips of thin white and black
paper mounted with a squre black jewel in the middle.

Such variety, all great cards.              RM
